Sitting at the kitchen table eating his breakfast Cliff looked down at his child who was busy twirling around in her little blue dress. "You nervous about school?" He asked causing the young child to jump from the sound of his voice.
Looking up to see it was just her father asking her a question she couldn't help but giggle. "No...I'm excited" She walked over and climbed onto her father's plate.
Watching her climbing up he had his hand ready just in case she fell backwards. "You better not get messy else your mother will kill me" he chuckled.
Ripping a piece of pancake Tina tossed it into her mouth. Chewing the food she looked up at her father with the biggest smile "Is it time to go yet, Daddy?" The young child asked with a mouth full of food.
Looking over at the clock Cliff placed down his knife and fork. "Yeah it's time to go" he turned his attention back to his baby girl. Seeing her gone from his plate he looked around the table franticly.
"Over here Daddy" Tina giggled while watching her father panicking
Hearing her voice Cliff let out a sigh of relief don't scare me like that" he looked over at the little girl who was standing at the edge of the take rocking back and forth all cutely.
Leaning over Cliff gave her a quick peck on top of the head "Okay...we better take you to school" he whispered.
Tina snuggled into him "Daddy..I lied I am nervous to go to school" she sniffed
Holding her against his face Cliff closed his eyes tightly as he scooped her up. Rubbing her little back with his thumb he couldn't help but look down at her with proudness in his green eyes
"You'll be alright baby girl"
