Martina and Harley continued bickering about how there was only one masculine man who could defend them in the group. One, who could protect them if aliens threatened their lives.

As if it didn't happen before., however, the humans weren't aware of such a thing happening. Practically, Martina thought the incident that led them to be institutionalized in Iron Heights was due to karma; one bad apple that followed her everywhere. She disregarded the fact that her misfortune might have been caused by extraterrestrials. Thus, she kept telling Harley that the rumor about alien invaders attacking them was nothing but a ploy to keep them on their toes for such an attack similar to a zombie apocalypse.

Thus, the argument she had with Harley was senseless in her book, since no one was winning the game. Harley, the worrywart, wouldn't stop complaining and stubborn Martina was losing her cool.

Fed up with her girlfriend's nagging, Martina softly tapped Harley's cheeks as if she was going to slap her silly. Martina took hold of Harley's shoulders and gently shook her.

"Listen Harley, we can't back down anymore. You are acting crazy! We all signed the contract to go to outer space. Aliens or not, I'm sure we all will figure this out. We women don't always need a macho man to defend us. Have some faith in yourself!"

With that lecture, Harley noticed how foolish she had become. She needed to sit down as her anxiety built upon her.

"You're right Marti, I'm sorry. I think eavesdropping on what Bonnie told Clyde earlier made me lose it all." Harley whimpered as she lowered the tone of her voice. She was careful not to get loud in case Bonnie eavesdropped on them.

Martina's eyes widened as a light bulb clicked in her thoughts. This new information Harley told her interested Martina as she had a hunch that the lady that befriended Harley's brother must have been part of this scheme. After all, Bonnie was the one who got them in trouble in the liquor store in the first place.

"Go on my love, tell me more about what Bonnie said." But before Harley could say anything, Clyde entered the room. Thus, the girls stopped chatting; afraid that he would spill the beans of what they knew about Bonnie's latest rant .

But it was too late as Clyde heard part of their conversation.

Thinking that the commotion was about him, he intervened in the discussion as he gained the strength to speak up. Earlier Bonnie lectured him to man up as he was being viewed as a wimp. As she refused to hear that about him, Bonnie told him to start telling people what's on his mind before it was too late ; man up was the exact term that he heard. And even though Clyde felt hurt after hearing her comments, he didn't want to express his feelings. He was afraid of losing her if he told Bonnie that her assertiveness made him feel insecure.

As Bonnie figured that if they all were going to die up in Space, they might as well do it in vain. "Make the most of it, for you never know when your time will end," is what she was told in grade school. And now she passed that knowledge onward to Clyde as she didn't want her boyfriend to die as a coward.

"Ladies! Why did you stop chatting? I'm flattered to be known as a macho man, but I'm already taken." Clyde tried to smirk as he tried to lift up the collar of his jacket, but even though he tried to look like a stud, the uneasiness in his voice showed. Clyde gulped after he mentioned his last statement and looked for an easy way out as he attempted to walk away.

Martina noticed the sudden change in his behavior and wanted to ask him why he acted differently than his usual self.

"Wait, Clyde! Please don't walk away from us. What's wrong?"

Stopping in place where he stood, Clyde let out a deep breath. He wanted to impress the ladies, but knew that wasn't his personality. Thus, he blurted it all out that it was all Bonnie's idea to change his attitude for the better before doomsday came around.

"Hmm. So that's what this is all about? I assure you Clyde, just be yourself. No one thinks of you as a coward." Thinking of a way to describe his persona, Martina paused to reflect on what to say next.

"What you have, Clyde is spark; a passion that lights a fire in a person's life. For instance, when we heard your story when you met your girlfriend, you were the one who made Bonnie happy after she escaped living in a lavish family lifestyle who wouldn't let her be. We saw her parents flaunt their wealth when they visited the Iron Heights Facility and I bet that made Bonnie loose her cool." Martina hoped that her bright ideas would bring him hope.

"Spark, hmm, I like that. What else?" Clyde managed to turn his frown upside down.

"Well, you have charisma, the quality of being able to attract, charm and influence those around you, like ourselves. We like you as part of our group, don't we Harley?" Martina eyed her beloved who had her hands crossed. She wasn't that interested in what was going on, but wanted to support Martina in any way that she could.

"Yes, Clyde. Don't be someone who you are not. Have some pride in yourself." Harley was even suprised that she quickly thought of saying something positive. She gave herself a pat in the back fir thinking about that statement at the last minute.

"Don't tell Bonnie that we told you this though". Martina thought about how the drama queen would react if she knew the two girls were trying to butter up her boyfriend.

"Tell me what?"

Out of the blue, the blonde entered the room, and Martina sighed.

Speaking of the devil, I wish I had shut my mouth.

"We were trying to tell Clyde that he wasn't a wimp as you suggested." Harley blurted out.

Shocked, Martina placed her hands over her face. She couldn't believe Harley stated that.

Holding a firm face together, Bonnie looked at Martina. "So, is that what you think of me as well?"
