Foreword

Dear reader,

Before you start with the story, I would kindly ask you to read this foreword first. I want to clear out any misunderstandings and make sure that you are aware of some things before going further. Please read this carefully and decide here if you want to read this story or not. I will not accept any complains in later chapters, as you have been warned beforehand.

First, this is a Fillie AU story; it has nothing to do with reality and I don't claim it is in any way related to their current lives; it's FICTION and Millie and Finn work as my actors in this story.
I use them as my characters, because I love them individually and I love their dynamics on and off screen, but they portrait a different version of themselves, that has nothing to do with who they are in real life.
I hope you understand this approach and do not attack me for it. I don't want to offend anyone with this story, but if you think you could be offended by it, please DON'T READ it.

Second, they are both out of character, especially Finn, who is basically a breathing red flag in this story (Girls, if you meet someone like that, run and hide! It's fun in fiction, but not so much in rl). Again, I don't want to copy reality and the way I write him has nothing to do with who he is. It's more a character version of him, that has some influences of Richie, Miles, Ziggy, Boris, added up with my own ideas.

I like to think, that Finn would have a lot of fun portraying this fictional version of himself, but I want to highlight that this is not how I see him in real life, and we all know that he is nothing like that.
Anyway, I hope this fictional Finn makes you cringe just as much as he makes you laugh.

Maybe you wonder why I haven't made it a Mileven AU, but to me these characters are even further away from Mileven than from Fillie, and it just felt wrong forcing the Mileven cover onto the story, when it is not what I had in mind while writing it.

Next to Fillie this story also contains a lot of other members of the Stranger Things cast, as side characters. For them the same applies as for Millie and Finn; they are characters in this story, that doesn't claim to portrait reality.

Next, this story is different from what I usually write. Those of you who have read some of my Mileven stories know they are usually fluffy, sometimes added up with some angst. But I wanted to try out a few new things and challenge myself, therefore this story is more mature than anything that I have written so far.
WARNING: This story contains topics such as alcohol and drug abuse, and it will contain sexual content. There are going to be some sex scenes, but they will be very limited in their amount, however this story contains a lot of sexual references, talks and thoughts about sex, whatsoever...
Please decide here if you feel comfortable reading about it and if you are old enough to read such things. I will not place any further warnings throughout the story; you have been warned right here and I will not take the blame if you read things, that you do not like or are not old enough for.

Lastly, a few further remarks on the story:
I own nothing but the plot, although this kind of story has been told before in many fanfics, books, and movies, it's just my own version of it.
Each chapter has a theme song, which is also the title of the chapter, and you are welcomed to listen to them, but it's not a must of course. These songs belong to the rightful owners, however, there are some songs throughout the story, which are my own. I'm not a professional song writer, but please for the sake of the story, let's pretend they are not utter rubbish :D
And as you might have guessed already, I'm not a native speaker, so please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes.
