  In this oneshot, Gray and Mira are best friends while Lucy and Laxus are best friends. Mira and Laxus are dating, and Gray and Lucy hate each other to the point of calling themselves enemies. They deal with each other for the sake of their friends.                                                            -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

   Lucy didn't know how she let Laxus and Erza convince her to go to Natsu's party. But yet here she was, wearing her long sleeved blue and white crop top with her black miniskirt and her thigh-high black socks. She decided to do something different with her hair this time, deciding on a more mature hairstyle than her normal pigtails.

  Lucy loves Laxus like a brother and she is happy that he is happy with the lovely Mirajane. But one thing was sure. She could not stand the likes of Mira's best friend Gray. She loves Mira's other friend Erza and she doesn't mind Natsu and Happy. But when it came to Gray, she could not stand to even be in the same room as him. Each time they were together in the same room, they would always fight and bicker, ruining everyone else's mood. This was something that really bothered her. All the time she has to spend around Gray due to mutual friends. From his wearing no shirt habit to him riding a loud-ass motorcycle, she couldn't stand him one bit. Ignoring the fact of having to deal with being near Gray for the whole car ride to the party, she climbed into the car beside Laxus and Erza.

  After a long drive in the limbo to Natsu's party, Lucy was glad to finally be free of the cramped space. She took a fresh breath of air as she stepped out of limbo and made her way to the front door of the large mansion. It still amazed Lucy just at how grand the mansion was. It almost seemed as if it was a fancy five star hotel, even fancier than her own Heartfilia home her father once owned. She immediately made her way to the drink table to get some punch before standing farther away from the crowd and watching all of her friends go onto the dance floor.

  It didn't take long before Lucy realized that she had gotten the wrong punch and had drank the spiked one instead. She sighed and sat her half gone drink on the table before deciding to join Levy and Erza on the dance floor, instantly feeling the beat and grooving her way through the crowd. Once the song was over she started to feel a bit uncomfortable as she felt like there was a pair of eyes refusing to gaze off of her. She looked around a bit before shrugging it off as her being paranoid and enjoying the rest of the party. Not long before the party was halfway over, Laxus and Mira had left, along with any of her friends that could drive without being under the influence. She then felt the gaze again and began to freak out a bit.

  She looks around again and finds some guy creepily following her every movement, and she realizes that she doesn't recognize anyone else that was at the party. Even Natsu and Happy seemed to have disappeared. It wasn't long after that incident that that same guy has all of a sudden disappeared from the party. It was in this moment that she remembered making a pact with Laxus that if you were in a situation and really needed out, to give the other a call an they will be there. She did just that and quickly called Laxus, explaining the situation and about how really freaked out she was. He had said he'd be there in about 15 minutes and not to worry.
  At the 15 minute mark, Lucy made her way outside and looked around for Laxus' car, but saw no one just as she heard the rev of an engine. She looks down the street and saw Gray standing there by his motorcycle, arms crossed and looking in her direction, a smile on his face. 

  She groans in annoyance as she walked over to him. "What are you doing here, Buster." He just chuckles at this. "What? I'm your Prince Charming, I heard you needed a ride. Your chariot awaits Princess." He smirks and she shakes her head, immediately firing back at him. "Oh no no no. I am not getting on that. Where is Laxus or Mira." His smile falters. "They are a little.. Occupied in this moment if you get what I mean, and I offered my services." She shakes her head no again. "Okay well I am *not* getting on that." He sighs. "Well you have no choice."                                              "Well I'll just call an uber." He sighs again. "I am already here. Just get on the bike Luce"            "Fine." She finally gives in rolling her eyes as she climbs on the bike, putting the extra helmet on. 

  For safety reasons, Gray tries to grab her hands to move her forward and she just absolutely refuses to do so. He rolls his eyes and revs his engine, forcing her to smack up against his back. As this happens, he grabs a tight hold of her hands, wrapping them around his torso and holding them as tightly as he can before driving off towards her street. 

  Gray eventually pulled up outside her house, the drive had been dead silent. When he stops, she hops off the bike and throws her helmet at him and storms up to her door. "What the hell?" He exclaims as he catches it. Before she can get in to her house, he walks up to her and pins her against the wall, caging her in front of her front door. She rolls her eyes. "What do you want Gray." He just looks at her and scoffs. "Am I not gonna get a thank you?" She rolls her eyes and mocks him. "Oh thank you Prince Charming that was so nice of you to drive me home like Laxus asked you to."

  "They didn't ask me to." She rolls her eyes again. "Okay yeah you came on your own free will like you really wanted to save me." He narrows his eyes and looks at her. "What have I made you do to hate me?"

  "Oh please." He cuts her off. "No seriously. Have I done something to piss you off to this point?"
  "Come on you-you know. It's just-" He cuts her of again. "No. Use your words. What have I done to piss you off." She just looks up at him and he looks down at her, him just waiting for her to explain it. "Y-You know you're not, like, a good guy." He scoffs again. "That's it huh." Lucy just rolls her eyes and looks away, Gray grabbing her chin and making her look at him again. He leans in super close to the point where their lips were inches apart. Her eyes widen as she looks up at him like she was shocked at what was going on and what could happen. 

  At the last second, Gray turns and goes straight to her ear and whispers, "I think you want me to be the bad guy." Her face turns a bit puzzled. "Why?" He continues to whisper in her ear. "Cause I think you know I would be too good to you. He then gently nips her earlobe before backing away" She looks at him. "What are you doing?" He just smirks and speaks up to her. "Good night Princess." He winks at her before getting on his bike and driving off. Lucy stood there in shock for a moment before feeling a shiver from the cold wind and going inside.
