As my brothers and I made our way into the school I saw the Shadow Knights sitting by their normal tree. "Hey Garroth I need to do something, go on I'll catch up to you." With that I turned on my heels and made my way towards Gene.
I know he hates me, but I always get a weird feeling in my stomach when I'm near him. "Hi Gene!" I said cheerfully with a slight blush on my face.
"What do you want Loser?" Zenix said as Gene rolled his eyes. "Zenix, Sasha, head on to the park. I'll catch up to you." They nodded and made their way to the park.
"Now that they're gone, what did you want?"
"Uh, um, I wanted to tell you... I wanted to admit,--" I was nervous so I fell silent. He did his chuckle he always did and I loved.
Before I could speak again he pinned me to the tree and whispered seductively. "Do you like all of this?" I blushed a little more and slowly nodded. He smirked again and released me from the tree.
"Tell you what. You and I can meet here after school is over and we can hang out afterwards." I smiled brightly and nodded. I went back in school now excited for it to be over.
Gene POV
I slightly blushed a bit as Zane happily made his way to class. He is so cute. I thought as I smiled one more time and left to meet up with Sasha and Zenix at the park.
*later after school, Zenix and Sasha went home*
I stood by the tree not caring if Zane came or not--Though I was hoping he still would.. But I perked my head up when I heard footsteps come towards me.
"Hi Gene!" He said with a slight smile. A tint of pink appeared on my face just like him. We stared into each other's eyes for a bit before he broke the silence. "So, where to?"
"Oh, um I was thinking we could go see a movie and then get ice cream shortly after?" I suggested to him. He nodded cute and shyly. We made our way to my car and I drove us to the movie theater. "So what do you wanna watch?" I asked him. "Uh, I don't know, something cool?" I smirked and bought the tickets for Black Christmas in 3d.
We walked to the counter and got a bucket of popcorn to share and a soda. When we got our food I grabbed his hand and dragged him along behind me. When we walked in the theater he immediately tried to turn around and walk back out.
"Nope, I already paid for the tickets, you're staying here with me wimp." He slumped his shoulders and we went to the back row.
When the movie finally started he got scared and leaned onto my shoulder hiding his face. I blushed wildly after he did this, which made me glad the lights were off so he didn't see it. I smiled at him and we finished the movie.

Anyways on with the story

By the end of the movie Zane had fallen aeep on my shoulder and I was almost disappointed that I had to wake him up.
"Zane wake up. The movie's over." He slowly woke up with his eyes red and puffy. I chuckled a little to myself. "Well, should we go get that ice cream?" He nodded still half asleep. We grabbed all of our stuff and left to go to the Sweets Shop. Once we ordered and sat down I spoke up again.
"If you're so obsessed with me and the SKs, how come you're petrified of horror movies?"
"U-Umm, I l-like to watch, um, my little h-horsies." At this point I started letting out my laughter. "Mr 'Edge-Lord who-is-Obsessed-with-the-Shadow- Knights' is scared of horror stuff and likes my little horsies?!!"
"I-I'm sorry. Y-You probably don't l-like me anymore b-because of it, do you?" He began to stutter. "I-I should've k-known you wouldn't l-like a w-wimp like me. I-" i cut him off with a kiss.
When we pulled back for air I looked at his bright blue eyes. "Zane, I don't care if you're a wimp or not. You're still adorable no matter what you like." He looked up at me and smiled his adorable smile again.
We leaned in and kissed again. "I love you Gene.."
"I love you too Wimpy." I kissed his forehead and then we got up and I took him home.
