I felt my eyes jolting rapidly. I didn't wake up to the bullet-like shots of rain over the roof above my head, but the nightmares which were looking forward to turn sinister anytime.
I tried to calmly stretch out my eyes to discover my whatsoever parents arguing among themselves again. For god knows what time.
It felt too numb, too Unbearing.
I sat up slowly on my messed up bedsheets which almost looked Ancient. I looked around my room to find the usual laundry scattered on the floor. "Oh" I put forth. I found the missing sock. But that didn't make me any happy to the thought that I won't organize them anyways; it was useless in short.
I got up pushing myself; rubbed my eyes and looked around for my flip-flops which were gone. I got up sighing heavily and headed to the bathroom. Staring at myself at that cracked rectangular mirror into those heterochromic blue-black eyes. Though others found them unique, I found them odd. It made me feel different from others and left out in a way.
Some found me quirky, others found me lunatic. Though I thought this combination would neutralize, but made it worse and explosive in return as in Chemistry.
Realizing that I was again in those never-ending conceptions, I splashed the cold as ice tap water at my face- trembling my spinal cord and spreading goosebumps to my lower body. "Haa.." I exalted.
I felt happier as the chilled water worked as caffeine. It made me active and I could sense better.Bringing myself out of my depressing room, i stepped downstairs as the muttering argues of my mom and dad got louder, clearer. I shrugged it off and sat on the dining chair waiting for my food.
"If only you could be more responsible and feed the damn dog! Why did you even take it in when you fail to even take care of it?!" -my mum shouted at my dad.
"I have better things to do! I've work, I am responsible for taking care of this household and it runs only because I'm working my ass off!"
"ITS NOT LIKE I'M RELAXED! I also work my ASS off taking care of your food and chores. If you can't take care of your things, you'd better kick 'em out!"
They fought on the littlest things which could possibly exist.
I raised my hands and slowly covered my ears escaping reality and jumping to my own deep-conceptions again, but the quarrel of feeding the dog and chores- were still audible and went on.
Mum decided to finally grasp onto maturity and serve me food; Atleast I was fed.
The usual toast and peanut butter, the toast slightly burned at the edges which left uncountable crumbs when picked up. The classic homemade pomegranate juice which was the only thing I enjoyed. Munching on the toast, with the modest taste of carbon gave me a strange kind of happiness which was soon interrupted.
"You're beautiful.."
A sudden whisper echoed from my right ear to the left making me flinch and choke on the crumbs. I coughed rapidly and begged for water. I grabbed the glass of water and chugged it down my oesophagus expecting to clear my trachea, which worked. Mum patted my back and I calmed down.
I widened my eyes as realization hit me like a truck on a bare road. I recognised that voice- I thought.
Or did I?..

Aventura"Screech" a voice choked the room. It's not the moving landscape outside, which I can't rather see. Perhaps, is it the monster outside or within? Alone with nobody else, obviously. I am afraid that I'm not alone, though. All alone. While his body r...
