Gazol's royal palace was full of guests, but the mood was dark.  Princess Zia was looking exceptionally upset. Ilula's army was approaching their boarder but her brother, the current king of Gazol, Uzaz, decided to throw a party to celebrate the birthday of his favorite mistress.

- We are going to lose, uncle..-  Princess Zia nervously turned to the tall, handsome man who was standing next to her. The man wore the general armor; he had long dark hair and brown eyes.

- Probably...- Masari decided not to continue his sentence. He saw Sar'gen during the negotiation. The most feared man alive was almost 2 meters tall, with a strong build and bright blue eyes. These powerful eyes that looked at you with unwavering determination were unforgettable. At the same time, Sar'gen moved without sound, almost stealthy; he was like the winter tiger that he was named after, and everyone in his presence felt like prey... Masari had mixed feelings after that meeting; he was fascinated by Sar'gen and still vividly remembers all the details from it.

- All Ilula's warriors were almost a head taller than anyone in Gazol 's army, - added Zia, - What chances do we have against these people?

Zia was smart and wise; she could be a good ruler, but unfortunately, her brother became the king. He was a stupid person whom Masari hated. Masari adored his niece, who was the only daughter of his oldest sister. The previous King and his sister loved each other and had a very happy marriage. Unfortunately, his sister died when Zia was just a small child. Masari decided to protect his little niece at all costs.

The king Uzaz was from the first marriage of the old king. The current king's mother was from the neighboring kingdom, and she hated everything about Gazol, including her husband and son. The crown prince ended up growing up as a spoiled person who did not care about his people or kingdom, engaging in a lavish lifestyle while his people starved and suffered. However, he thought highly of and degraded Ilula's kingdom as barbaric. He sent his royal army to invade Ilula and teach them a lesson. Ilula, in retaliation, destroyed this army and decided to invade  Gazol.

-Princess, please go rest... - Masari looked warmly at Zia

- Uncle, what could you do? Do we have any options? - Zia pleaded with Masari.

Masari sighed regretfully as he looked at his niece. Inside his heart, he knew that Sar'gen and his army were fighting for a good reason. They wanted to stop endless wars and save people from this miserable fate. He wanted to support him, but as any general, he pleaded to protect his kingdom and the king.

Suddenly, the extremely beautiful woman approached them.  The queen of Maron was famous not only because she was a very powerful political figure but also for her beauty. She was called the most beautiful woman on the continent. None could resist falling for her, man, woman, married, single, old, or young; all dropped to their knees by Queen Zahla's mesmerizing beauty. Zahla was a slim-looking woman with platinum blond hair and light, clear-as-sky eyes. She was described by many as an angel or a fairy. Artists from every kingdom were dedicated to her songs and artworks, and dreamed of the chance to paint her portrait. Rumors said that Maron became the richest kingdom because suitors from all around the continent sent gifts to her daily.

-Your Majesty, - Masari bowed politely.

-Oh, apologies, Princess Zia, General Masari. Hope I am not interrupting...- Her voice was very melodical.

-Of course, Your Majesty. - Princess Zia nodded, but it was difficult to hide her discomfort.

Queen Zahla arrived in Gazol a few weeks ago and, for some reasons openly expressed her interest in Masari. She would invite him to walk and have tea with her. Masari told his niece about all these instances.
