Within a fantasy world

There is a crazy bad genius who creates powerful weapons that are wrecking havoc on peaceful kingdom. He comes from a place populated by the doppelgangers of famous actors. Kept around just in case there is ever an incident and the famous person needs a body double. To distinguish the real person from the copy, these doppelgangers are portrayed as fantasy characters. Also they are bred to be strictly nonviolent.

The mad scientist in question, himself being an amphibious lizard creature living in a swamp on the outskirts of the kingdom. Although supposed to be the body double of Rick Moranis, instead he has taken on a new task. He is researching and developing weapons with the use of unknown science. Plus, the body double of such a past his prime actor is no longer of much concern.

This kingdom is also further secured by being located within a miniature world. They are about the size of only a few millimeters across. Their world is populated by forests made of fungus, and bacteria sprawled savannahs, virus balloons, mold mountains.

At some point the water level begins to rise, for them it could only take a couple droplets worth, to start flooding the kingdom. The inhabitants have to inflate their breathing glands, so they can survive underwater as it rises. Meanwhile the mad scientist escapes and expands to normal sized.

Outside now, the crazy genius, who created pocket sized grenades, flings them over his shoulders. They explode and the populace cannot handle it because they've never experience war or conflict. Thanks in part to all the work being done inside of these tiny kingdoms, which serve to benefit and all but remove conflict from society.

But in the chaos the mad genius moves towards the Kingdom palace. The villagers are in a frenzy now and even on a normal day none of them would think to guard the king since there is no violence here in this tranquil villa. Most of the days are made up of lounging around. No one in the society even really works. Which is part of why this crazy scientist wants to destroy them. Who are these people to thrive, while he and his kind are forced to work, only to make the lives of these hedonism lovers lives easier?

Coming up on the palace and it looks like a court jester, played by Ben Stiller or perhaps his doppelganger, who recognizes the mad genius. But they're apparent buddies so he only gives him a pat on the backside and lets him go on through without any resistance. Whether it is because they are both working towards the same goal, or if Ben Stiller just doesnt realize that a crime could occur in his utopia is unclear. At first.

The mad scientist hands an automated laser rifle to Ben and leaves him to guard the entrance. Seems they're accomplices in this plot of war. At the moment though, it seems that the scene paused for a commercial break, and someone out of view changes the channel.

Turns out the whole thing was all on TV and I'm watching these events unfold from another room. In my own room I've got my own TV playing a movie I've not even been watching. The movie on my TV involves going to the DMV and having to deal with those long nail ladies as they type something up for me and then assign me a driving test.

I have to wait because their obscenely long nails make these ladies take forever to type anything out. After what seems like an eternity, and without realizing that I am now part of the movie, I am finally able to be admitted into the driving school.

Later I'm out in the practice parking lot filled with cones, curbs and other obstacles I've got to navigate through in order to pass. On top of that instead of a steering wheel, I have an old school Nintendo console. It is playing a videogame from a 8 bit era platformer game involving Sonic characters but they're bumping up into floating boxes like it was a Mario game. Until one of them crushes the character and now it's game over.
