When Casper and I are finally in the school building, he continues taking me to the library. We walk through a normal looking hallway, I only see a few people out of what looks to be classrooms. Actually, it's pretty fancy in here. We are about to walk past a class labeled 5A, and Casper picks up his pace. As soon as we walk past the door to the class I hear the door slam open. I turn my head and see a girl standing in the doorway. She has a normal school uniform on, with a light blue tie, and light pink vest, she has curly pink hair in two pigtails, there are light blue and light pink ribbons holding the pigtails, and she has blue eyes. She looks a little younger than me and Casper. Casper glances at her and begins running, I almost trip because of the sudden rushing.

"CASPER!" I hear her shout. At first I thought she was adorable, but I have a feeling she doesn't act very kawaii.

She starts running after us, and I'm actually a little scared. For such a kid looking person, she is intimidating.

"LEAVE ME ALONE CLAIRE!" Casper yells and he is still holding my wrist and running. Now students are starting to open the classroom doors and see us. This makes me pretty nervous and I feel my face start to go red. I look down at the floor as we keep running.

"Do you know her Casper?" I say loudly over the sound of stomping footsteps and students talking.

"Just an old classmate..." He shouts back with his voice trailing off.

I turn my head again and I see her stop running. She throws her hand in front of herself and shouts, "I summon you, foxes!" Five foxes appear out of no where and begin chasing us. I notice almost all of the students quickly close the doors to their classrooms. This can only mean bad things.

Casper takes a quick right to another hallway. The foxes decrease the space between us, they begin closing in. I don't want to have to take out one of my keys and cause a big mess, plus this is a school. Before I know it, a fox jumps on my back, making me fall on the ground. As I fall a fox jumps on Casper's back and he falls with me. The foxes just sit on our backs as we lay on the ground, they don't attack us like I thought they would. The Claire girl walks over to us with sort of an angry face.

"I dismiss you, my foxes." The foxes vanish in thin air. Claire walks to us as we sit up.

"Why did you leave?" She asks Casper with angry eyes, I see tears forming.

Casper just looks at her, I can see the guilt in his face. He turns his head away so he's not making eye contact anymore.

Claire jumps forward and hugs Casper, he falls over again on the ground. My eyes widen at the shock of what's happening. She is in full tears now.

"You left me all alone here, you didn't even tell me you were leaving! Do you know how worried I was?! None of the students or teachers knew where you went!" She was yelling now and tears kept flowing.

Claire sits up while wiping the tears from her face. She looks over at me, and a chill runs up my spine.

"Who are you?" She asks with sniffles.

"Oh.. I'm Melody." I reply kindly.

"Sorry about having my foxes attack you Melody. Casper here would have kept running if I didn't stop him. Say, why are you two together? Are you a transfer student?" She asks nicely.

Casper sits up once again and looks at the floor.

"We are traveling together, and no I'm not a transfer student. He took me here to look at the library and maybe get some more information." I say while standing up. I put out my hand to help her stand up, as Casper stands up on his own. "If you're allowed, you can come to the library with us if you want." I offer.

"Sure! She says with a bit smile.

Claire walks with us to the library. She asks me questions about where I'm from, how me and Casper met, and what information we're looking for. We finally arrive at the library, there seems to be no librarians or anyone for that matter. I begin looking for books that have to do with any of the different worlds, and I actually find a few. I read almost all of the books in the library after only a few hours. I couldn't help myself, there were so many good books. I gained some more information about the other worlds, thankfully. I look over and see Casper is asleep, once again while reading a book. I then get up and go to the glass doors that lead to a balcony. Claire is standing against the railing looking at the sky. I open the doors and she looks at me. I stand beside her and look at the stars.

"Did you find what you're looking for?" Claire asks.

"Yeah, I got a lot of information from the schools library. I'm really happy we came here." I say back.

"That's good! Hey...who was the one who decided to come here? You or Casper?" She asks with a sad looking face.

"Casper told me about the academy, but I was the one who figured we should come here. I wanted to see it for myself." I answer.

"Oh, I see." She says with a soft tone.

"So how do you know Casper?" I ask trying to lighten up her mood.

"We met a long time ago. I started going to this academy when I was 8. Casper has gone here since he was..I think 6. He's two years older than I am, so he was 10 when I got here. Since you live at the academy and all when you go here, I had to make some friends. One day I was lost in the woods by the school, my class was doing a little hunting game. Whoever found all of the items first got a prize. I somehow got lost from the group I was with, and ended up not knowing where I was. I wondered around and found myself by the walls of the school. Just then, I saw a kid jumping from a tree to the wall, and he began running up the wall. I wasn't looking at my surroundings and two people came from behind me and grabbed me. They were people who weren't supposed to be at our school. I started screaming and squirming, and the boy saw me being taken. Instead of continuing to run up the wall, he turned around and ran down it. He had this giant sword that looked way too big for him. He ran towards the men and drew his sword, attacking them. Once he defeated them he came over to me to make sure I was okay. I thought he was crazy, asking me if I was alright when he had a cut on his arm from one of the men. I didn't know what to say, but I thought I should thank him and heal his wound. I summoned a dog, I told the dog to lick his wound, so it could at least heal faster. I then dismissed the dog and took out my handkerchief and wrapped it around the cut. After that day I followed him everywhere and we talked a lot. I seemed to be the only person he ever talked to. Now, I care about him very deeply." It sounds like the two of them are really close.

"That's a great story." I tell her.

"Yeah. He's always wanted to leave the academy, and I think I was the one holding him back. Then, he actually did it, he escaped and was out doing what he wanted to do. Not doing what the academy wanted him to do," She paused and looked at me,"Please take care of him for me, he causes trouble, but he's a good person." She smiled.

I looked at her and smiled, "Of course."

I turned and saw the sun was rising. We both hear a loud noise and see that Casper fell out of his chair. Claire and I giggle at him and his face goes a little red.

I wonder how the academy could be so bad as to make him leave.
