I tilted my head.I could see some curiosity in those eyes

"You reek of danger."

I looked at his curious eyes now started to turn cold

"Ah..and you also reek of sadness, regret and..loneliness.To be honest this is something we both have in common."

"That are quite a lot of letters "

I said looking at the mountain of letters on the table

"These are all tea party invitations.Looks like what you said came true."

Ethan poured me tea

"Hmm..you are right."

"Are you going to attend all those?"

"Nope.I am not going to attend a single one today."

"Why?"

I quote as Ethan stared at me as if I was just spouting nonsense.

"Ah yes.Ethan Is there any letter from the Broffet family?"

"Broffet?No there are none."

"Oh okay leave it."

I took a sip from my cup..it's bitter.

"What's this tea?"

"Echinacea tea. My lady."

"I see.. Ethan this tea is Asteria's favourite right?"

I asked swirling the tea in the cup a little.

I put the teacup down and looked at Ethan in the eye

I paused before speaking again
