We walked back to my cabin when it started to get dark with no luck finding our friends. That night he slept in the guest bedroom and I slept where me and kenzie had already been sleeping. I said goodnight to him and locked my door because I couldn't fully trust him. Nothing happened that night.
I was cooking breakfast as he walked into the kitchen “what are you making? It smells good.”  he says, giving me a soft smile. “It's just eggs with bits of sausage and bacon in it but thanks.” i say placing the plates on the table to eat. “So.. Do you wanna go look for them again today?” he asked, taking a bite of his eggs. “ I won't stop until I do. As her best friend I can't help but blame myself for what happened. So until I find her I won't stop looking.”  I say looking at the ground. I don't know what to expect but I know that no matter what I won't give up.
After cleaning up we left to look for our friends again. After about an hour of walking in silence Samuel started to ask me about how I got here. “Well kenzie had gone to the store one day and there was a table with a lady asking people if they wanna go to some cabins in the forest for a trip and she sent a photo to me about the flier. But after she was done shopping she went out and it was gone. She was only in there for 20 minutes. It seems kind of weird now that I think of it." I say “I actually have the picture.” I pulled out Kenzie's phone and stopped instantly when I saw the old lady in the picture.
“What's wrong?” He asked, looking at the photo. “ The old lady was in a dream the other day.” i say “she had told me not to come here and that she died here and i would die if i went. Maybe it wasn't a dream. What if it's true? I should have listened.” I feel shivers go down my spine unfolding everything like it was a puzzle. “Wait.” he says, grabbing the phone from my hand. “ That's my girlfriend.”  pointing to a girl that was talking to the old lady. “She was the one who told me about the cabin. She said that it would be a fun guy's trip.” he said as we started to walk again.
