Chapter 12

3rd pov

It was the next day, both the demons were still sleeping and none had the strength or energy to wake up after what happened at the infinite castle.

The room is dark and Muzan and Kokushibo are both cuddling each other, Muzan was unaware he was pulled by Kokushibo last night.

Seconds later Kokushibo woke up first, he looked at the latter's sleeping face and felt some admiration and he doesn't know why. He doesn't want to release his arms around the latter's waist since he feels so attached to him and he doesn't know why.

Kokushibo gave a light kiss at Muzan's forehead before getting up of the bed, he doesn't know why he did that, why he kissed him at his head. His body isn't helping him and it's like something else has taken control over it.

He went to the leaving room to read some books but he didn't want to leave Muzan alone. So, he took a book which Douma gave during the meeting not so long ago and went to his room.

Kokushibo set at the bed and opened the book 'Another book about same gender relationship but I won't mind, I just read whatever books I get' He felt a hand or the whole arm around his abdomen and a leg at his leg.

Muzan hasn't woken from his sleep and cuddled Kokushibo. He didn't mind it, he started reading the book and his hand unknowingly went to Muzan's head and he started playing with his hair. He doesn't notice it though. It's cute.

Muzan made some mumbling noises, indicating that he is asking up "uhm" Kokushibo heard the noise and also realised where his hand is, he quickly took off his hand from Muzan's head.

"K-kok....ushi..bo?"

Oh no, Kokushibo didn't know that his voice will be gone and it's also very raspy to hear. "I apologise for what I did to you Lord Muzan"

Muzan was shocked, 'I guess his mind wasn't right so he didn't know he was doing it with me' Muzan tried to speak but his throat hurts, he can't regenerate it since he needs blood or flesh as he haven't had human flesh for one and a half week.

Kokushibo waited for Muzan's response but to no avail. He even noticed that he can't regenerate, he needs human flesh or blood to regenerate properly.

So Kokushibo went out wearing a hat and wearing a mask, it became dark when Muzan woke up. He slept for so long and by the time Kokushibo also finished his book but was rereading it again.

He left Muzan alone at home but gave his book to him, he might like it anyway.

Kokushibo has now Asakusa, the first encounter he had with Muzan's own family and the thought about it angers him. He went at alleyway and waited for passersby.

It felt long but luck came to him, he young looking female was coming in his way. He ready himself to catch her, once she was near he quickly hold her mouth preventing her from shouting for help and snap her neck by twisting it to the sides but he doesn't know a young child saw everything.

When he picked her up he tried making it look like she was unconscious and needed help, he then noticed the young child. "Another to kill" but the child spoke "Uncle Kokushibo, how did you do that? It was so cool!!!" It was Haruka who was the young child.

Kokushibo was taken aback by the child's way of talking. "Kid, where is your mother?" Haruka gave Kokushibo a creepy smile saying "She was suffering from cancer so I took a knife and killed her when she was sleeping. I wanted my mother's suffering to end quickly so she could feel at peace"

He did expect that from her reply but now he likes this kid and since she is also blood related to Muzan, she will be psychotic. "Do you want to meet your father? I know you will say yes anyway so follow me" And both Kokushibo and Haruka went to the forest along with the young dead female.

Now that they have reached their destination, Kokushibo tells Haruka to wait in the living room while he checks on his father. She agrees.

He went to his room bring the dead body but just incase Haruka comes in, he licks the door. "Lord Muzan here, have this." He gave Muzan the body and Muzan started chewing the skin and gave a big bite to the skin and ripped it off, showing blood dripping. Kokushibo could see the bones of the female. Muzan chewed the skin and continued having his food until only the bloody bones were left.

Muzan licked his lips which were covered with blood but his fingers were the problem. Suddenly Kokushibo took Muzan's hand, holding his wrist and pulled near his mouth. He licked the blood then sucked each of Muzan's fingers.

Muzan was frustrated from Kokushibo's action, he froze when he sucked his fingers. Not leaving a single blood in both his hands. "Delicious" Was all he said to make Muzan blush from his face to his ears. It was very visible considering he has pale milky skin.

Kokushibo almost forgot about Haruka as he was stuck in his own world "Lord Muzan, remember Haruka? Your biological daughter? She is here right now"

Muzan was shook, he loves his daughter dearly and treats her like a princess. "I want to meet her" He has tears falling down but he quickly rubs them. "Let's go then"

Muzan stood up but stumbled a bit "Sorry I went rough" Kokushibo looked down "No no, it's fine. I was the one who wanted to help you and having it rough felt good" Kokushibo blushes at the statement. Muzan went too straightforward but he himself is also straightforward anyway. "Let's go meet her instead of wasting time"

"Oh yes yes!!!" Kokushibo unlocked the door and opened it, seeing Haruka having something. 'Is that a rabbit?' Muzan came alongside Kokushibo and saw her too. His jaw dropped. "Haruka what are you having!?"

She looked up and saw his father and said "Dinne?" Muzan couldn't take the sight of his daughter eating a raw rabbit but she is blood related. So maybe she is half demon and half human, demon side for eating whatever she finds editable raw and human side for having their food both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and also walking under the sun. Since Muzan sees her playing outside the garden in the morning day light.

After she was done, she quickly ran towards Muzan and hugged him while crying "Daddy's bad, he left Mommy and me" Muzan licked up and pinched her nose "owie" A tear fell from her eyes. "I am sorry Haruka, I had to leave you and Rei to protect you but I guess I failed."

Kokushibo loved the moment that was going on here, he wanted to embrace and so he did from his mind. He feels like taking Muzan's hand again but not suck it but kiss it gently with care and love? He doesn't know what's going on with his mind, he never wants to be in a relationship but it's changing his heart.

"Oh Haruka do you know what you are?" She nobs "Half demon and half human" Muzan gave her a kiss at her cheeks. "Smart like his father"

Muzan hugged her daughter not wanting to leave her but he had to go back to his family "I will be back Honey, you stay here with Uncle Kokushibo, ok! He will take care of you"

Kokushibo nobbed at Muzan and he disappeared but before he did he gave her another kiss but on her forehead. "Bye Daddy" Haruka wanted to cry but she had Kokushibo. "Don't worry kid, your father will come back"
