Getting to know the Brothers

The first words out of the oldest brothers mouth was "where were you two ??"

Raph sighed "look Leo we were-....."

"I ran remember?" I asked cutting in "Raph was just bringing me back. we had a misunderstanding and now its cleared up.... so what's for supper?" I gave Raph a sideways glance as he shot me a grateful look.

"well we don't actually eat until around six-thirty-ish, maybe seven-ish" Donnie said

"oh" I said sorta surprised "well... great!"

"wait...Really Dudette?" Mikey said surprised

my eyes widened at the nickname but I shook it off "yeah really.... besides it'll give me a chance to get to know you guys" I said honestly

"why would you want to get to know us?" Leonardo asked

"because I'm probably not gonna be allowed to leave right now.... am I?" I asked. Leo looked at Donnie and then back at me. he shook his head no. "well" I continued "I figured that if I'm gonna stay here a while I might as well get to know the people I'm gonna be staying with"

I first wanted to get to know Leonardo. he was the leader. I wished to see how ran things. he was in his room meditating. I rolled my eyes, the only guy in the world who can actually think about the worlds problems is a mutant turtle. 'figures' I thought

I knocked slightly, startling him. "hey..."

"oh! h-hey Tessa, how are you?" he said both startled and stuttering. I grimaced at what he called me.

"Tess"

"what?"

"I prefer to be called Tess instead of Tessa, Leonardo" I said

"oh...Tess... got it. well uh I prefer to be called Leo instead of Leonardo if you don't mind"

"Leo equals Leader.... got it" I said looking around his room ignoring his flushed face "you like Space Hero's?" I asked

"oh...uh yeah... I do... I well did like...no *sigh* I mean I do like Space Hero's." he said shyly, I paused, unsure of what to say. "its ok" he muttered quietly "if, yeah know... you want to make fun of me for it now"

I felt my eyes widen "What?!?" I exclaimed "why would I make fun of you?" I asked "for liking something different? something older and not modern?"

he nodded.

"look Leo, I honestly don't care that you like that show. hey and you know what...? I'll even watch it with you sometime ok?" I placed a hand on his.

"really?" he asked shocked "why?.... your not doing this outta pity are you?" he asked suspiciously

"no Leo, I sorta like the show, I mean its not my favorite... but I can handle an episode or two every once in a while."

"seriously?" he asked "you watch Space Hero's and your not afraid to admit it?"

"nope" I said popping the "p"

"even if Raph laughs at you for it?" he said curiously

"not even then" I said removing my hand from his and placed it on his shoulder "so... what do you like to do when your not out saving New York?"

"well... we train and--" he began

"no Leo" I said sighing "I'm here to get to know you. not you and you bros... ok? I'll get to know them later, I'm here to get to know you right now. um... what about girls? huh? do you like anyone?"
