Angrily I shoved my belongings into my old suite case. I absolutely loathed my brothers right now. Blake sorrily helped me pack. I gritted my teeth together to keep from bursting out into a sobbing mess.
I paused packing, wondering if New York would be a better beginning for me...
Maybe I could even begin to start a relationship, inwardly I laughed at the thought. no guy would ever want me.... a freak..... a a- monster......
Running a small farm took up most of my free time, other than school so I never really had any sorta friends or social life... I shook my head and nodded it firmly. 'you will have a great time and you will have a relationship, if you don't find a jerk of a guy' I thought to myself and began packing again.
I sighed as I looked around my now-bare room. I took a few of my mothers belongings.... my brothers wouldn't miss them anyway....
I stared at myself in the mirror, looking at my mothers necklace around my neck. It was a glistening black and white opal star inside a heart cut necklace. my mom always said that I was the star in her heart. I smiled a shaky smile at the thought.
Then I grabbed her daggers. They were bounded by leather and the blades themselves were engraved with a wolf.
My mother lived in Japan for a couple months before meeting my dad. she told me all of these wonderful story's and about her adventures of becoming a warrior, a kunoichi. She said she never got to finish her training though, because she fell in love. My brothers scoffed when they heard it from our father, not believing my mother or my father, but I did and I still do.
I walked out the front door for the last time and I turned to go. Alex wasn't there, which wasn't surprising but my other two brother were there.
Gage stepped forward first "sis.. I... Um...." he looked down not able to find words for what he wanted to say. I was still mad, but I gave him a hug anyway.
"it's ok" I whispered "I'll survive"
Emmett stepped forward next, I was very close with him, closer that the others, that's for sure. "love you sis, and for what it's worth... I'm sorry..." I nodded against his chest, he maybe younger than me, but he was definitely not smaller than me. "be safe" he whispered in my ear before letting me go.
Blake was the last one to see me off. Blake smiled a forced smile and hugged me like he never wanted to let me go. I smiled slightly. "I'm gonna miss you, my little messy Tessa."
I hugged him back tightly. "I'll miss you too." with that I let him go and shifted into my wolf. I grabbed my bag in my jaws and started off towards New York City.

I arrived in New York around four hours after I left my home. It was late when I got into the city and I was exhausted. Fighting my brother, loosing the alpha tittle, packing and leaving home and running over a thousand miles would wear out anyone.
I walked up to a motel door when I realized that I didn't have a lot of money on me. Inwardly I cursed and made a mental note. 'I don't have enough cash to pay for a hotel room for tonight, tomorrow I need to find a job.' I turned away from the door and started walking. I stopped when I came upon what looked like an abandoned church. I crept inside. My small bag clutched against my body. I honestly didn't dare to speak. I was afraid of what would appear out of the shadows.
I listened for the sound of footsteps on the cobble floors. nothing... I looked for lit torches or some form of light. none. Finding a small corner of the building I curled up into a tight ball and hoped that some form of sleep would over take my body.
