~~Rebels~~

Beji and Karten were riding their horses early morning. When they saw the castle they both stopped and got off. They tied the horses with a branch so they wouldn't wander away.

"Are you ready lad?" said Karten as he was wearing his rebel night armor with a hooded cape to hide his face. He had an iron and steel sword. He needed both of them so he could give one of them to Neva.

"No...but we need to do this for Neva. Let's hope the gods are on our side" Beji said as he also put on the hooded cape.

Karten chuckled as they started walking to the castle but hid in the bushes as they came closer. The entrance was guarded by two Viltars guards. They were huge and heavily armed... so they weren't getting in the front. He needed to find a way to get in maybe in the back of the castle.

They both headed back making sure not to make noises that could cause attention. Then Karten saw their ticket to get in. The servant also brings trash out of the back. Old paper, food, and old weapons. They had to push a wooden wagon. The servant man dumped a few things out...then he saw it. Neva Rebel's armor was being dumped. The armor had blood on it. Karten got scared but they needed to get in. She has nothing to defend herself. The servant took his pipe out to put tobacco. This was the time he was distracted.

Karten looks at Beji "We have to climb in that wagon. Hurry lad." As he hurriedly climbed in the wagon. Beji followed and climbed in staying quiet as a mouse. Luckily there was a cover in the wagon so the servant couldn't see them.

After a little while they both looked at each other. Karten could see fear in the boy's brown eyes and gave him a reassuring smile. Beji smiled back at him but he could still see fear in his eyes...doubt crossed Karten's mind what if it's too late for them...what if the servant knows about us...what if Neva was dead and this would be for nothing but he quickly took that thought away. Then the wagon started moving.

The servant didn't see what was about to come to him. Once inside Karten revealed himself and jumped at him to hit the servant with his foot. The armed foot backed a punch as the servant gasped and fell to the ground. He was knocked out. Even though the size difference is obvious doesn't mean humans are weak. Karten smirked as he saw the servant unconscious.

"They should train their servants for basic self defense because that was too easy," he said looking at Beji who looked shocked at him.

"Teach me how to do that," Beji said giving him that boyish smile.

"I will lad but we have a mission. Stay behind me. If they catch me run Beji. Don't look back." Karten said in a serious tone as he put a hand on the lad's shoulders looking at him.

Beji just nodded. His brown eyes looked sad. Karten ruffled his hair trying to distract him. " come on boy let's get our princess" giving him a smirk. Beji smiled at him and nodded.

Karten left the servant's body alone. It's too heavy to move so he will be lying on the cold basement floor. They saw a doorway that led to the dungeon.

They both ran downstairs expecting to see guards but it was empty. No guards and more importantly no princess....this doesn't make any sense. Where could she be...unless they are too late?

Beji looked around "It looks like it hasn't been used in years Karten...where would they put her...unless" he said looking at Karten.

Karten looked at him and an idea came but he didn't like it.

"She must be upstairs," they both said at the same time.

Karten had fear in his eyes...they are freaking screwed.
