"Your grace, a maid from the duchy arrived under the order of the duchess."

Kunot noong nagtaas ng tingin si Zealand. He was reading the accounting papers and ledger when Virion, the head guard appeared.

"Name?" He asked in a low emotionless and cold tone.

"Shyann." His expression becomes grim after hearing the name and just nodded.

Virion bows and teleports back to the gate.

'Why is she here?'

After a few minutes, a knock from his door is heard followed by the creak sound as it opens, and an unexpected guest strides in.

His eyes widen in shock upon seeing the maid, "you-"

"Surprise?"

NAKASIMANGOT na pumasok si Anna ng kwarto at pabalyang humiga ng kama. Supposedly, aalis sila ni Zealand ngayong araw to fulfil his promise na dadalhin siya nito somewhere once she's healed.

Unfortunately, dumating ang knight Commander na si Baxter at ayun, kinidnap nito ang kanyang asawa at dinala ng kampo.

She's doing all her best to recover all her strength. For a week, she endured the bitter taste and strong scent of the medicine Augustine was giving her just so that she could spend time with Zealand but it was thrown off the cliff when his duty called for him.

Napabangon siya sa kanyang kama.

"Malayo ba dito ang Norte's Knight Space?" she asked referring to the North's military camp.

"Mahigit dalawang oras via carriage po pero aabot lamang sa mahigit isang oras kapag kabayo lamang po ang transportasyong gamit." Sagot ni Rosia na nakatayo sa gilid ng kama.

Anna nodded her head while thinking.

"Your Grace, you're not thinking of going there, no?"

Tanging ngisi lang ang isinukli ni Anna sa kanya. Since hindi natuloy ang lakad nila ng duke, siya nalang ang pupunta dito.

"Your grace, napakalayo ng Norte's Knight Space mula dito, delikado din po sa daan-"

"Too much peace is no fun, Rosia. A little bumpy road would be entertaining." She smirks.

"My muscles are quite stiff, I think I need a little exercise."

Napabuga ng hangin si Rosia. When Anna decides to do something, stopping her is out of the question. Wala ka ng ibang magagawa kundi sundin at sundan ito.

"Will you be okay your grace? It's not safe, sasamahan nalang po kayo ng ilang knight patungong kampo." Nag-aalalang sabi ni Rune.

"No need Rune." Sagot ni Anna habang hinihimas ang itim na kabayong kanyang napili mula sa kuwadra.

It's a jet black horse. Its body is solid and sturdy. It's evidently strong and quite despotic.

"It's one of the fastest horses that his grace has, duchess. Siguradong makakarating kayo ng mas maaga sa inyong paroroonan." Paliwanag ng tagapangalaga ng mga kabayo.

"I'll ride this one. You choose one Rosia." Napakamot na lamang si Rune ng ulo habang nakatingin sa dukesa na nahuhumaling na nakatitig sa itim na kabayo.

He did not know whether to stop her grace from riding the horse. It's one of the two favorite horses of the duke. It's very well trained and taken care of. Yet knowing the duchess, he knows he won't stand a chance in argument nor he would ever dare argue with her.

"Please take care of the duchy for a while Rune. Babalik din ako."

Wala ng nagawa pa si Rune kundi mapatango ng suwabe lamang na sumaklang ang dukesa sa kabayo at ekspertong pinatakbo ito papalabas ng mansyon kasunod ang tagasilbi nitong si Rosia.
