Kate and Caden come in twenty minutes later, the two of them laughing. Man, I need to talk to her about her ways. While they were gone, we all talked for a little bit. I found out that Ken just moved here and was going to my school, and with his looks, he'll be popular. He's always wanted a sibling so he's glad to have two sisters and two brothers now. He doesn't mind his mother being remarried since she's done it twice.

We all watch the two as they walk in and they sit at their original spots. Kate looks up first, smiling at dad then Ken. He smiles back at her, but it's a different one. He chooses a friendly smile unlike her flirty one.

Dad starts the conversation first as Caden looks up at him. Caden still has his scowl, but it's a bit brighter now. "Kids, I really hope you like Ken, because we're going to a water park today so we can hang out with him! You'll meet Kathy later." He says. Kate squeals in her seat as Tommy jumps up doing a little dance. We all love to swim so even Caden jumps up and join Tommy. I smile at my idiotic siblings.

"You guys got some moves!" Ken exclaims. This earns a smile from Caden and Tommy becomes more extravagant in his moves. Ken gets up and joins the two having even better moves than the two combined. Tommy and Caden step back with their mouths open as they gawk at Ken. Even dad watches him in amazement.

Once we're all done gawking, Kate does a little extra, we all get into the car. We stop by the house to get our swimsuits.

We arrive at the park a half hour later. Tommy and Caden race out the car together into the locker room with Ken and dad walking closely behind. Kate and I decide to walk a normal pace, but I regret staying with her. She talks about Ken the entire time.

"Those dark ocean-like eyes with that messy, gorgeous blonde hair! I know he'll be my stepbrother, but oh my gosh! He's so hot! Ugh!" She exclaims the entire time. I basically run away from her when I finish getting dressed. I hear her call my name, but happily ignore it.

I go outside to see that the park is almost empty. There are a few other kids running around, but the weather is unusually cloudy for more people to come. I spot out Tommy and Caden immediately as the two are running around chasing each other. Dad is running after them as they are fighting and trying to drown the other.

Ken joins the game, laughing at their attempts to kill each other. He has a six pack with broad shoulders. Oh, I will never hear the end of this from Kate.

"Nicole! Why did you leave me behind!" Speak of the devil. "Nicole! Are you even liste- oh my gosh." She says when she sees Ken. "Look at his chest! He's like the real Ken doll! Nicole! Are you seeing this?" She continues as I walk away.

The boys finally calm down when Ken catches them. Dad sits on the side, out of breath from chasing them. I walk over to the three of them laughing. Ken looks over at me and smiles as the two boys almost fall over from giggling so much. The two eventually stop but burst out laughing again when they look at me.

"What did you say about me?" I ask Ken but he puts his arms up as if saying 'What do you mean?' I cross my arms and glare at him.

"Fine! All I said was that you swimsuit is kind of granny like." He says as if it's no big deal. The boys literally fall over now. I look down at my swimsuit. It's a one piece with a couple flowers, but it has a black background. I look at Ken and see that he's holding a laugh back. I smack him in the arm and he starts to pout.

"Ow, that hurt." He says rubbing his arm. I now laugh at him. He looks at me with a devilish grin and I instantly know what he's doing. I sprint away from him and run upstairs for a slide. I can hear his heavy footsteps behind me and they get louder. Since no one else is on the slide, I jump inside.

I hear the guy who's guarding the slide yell at Ken as he jumps in behind me. He says something about safety, but I laugh anyways. I land in the water and swim quickly across it. Ken paddles loudly behind me, so I use a cheap move. I jump out of the water and sprint to the nearest girls bathroom. He bangs on the door as I catch my breath inside.

"Fine!" He says. Once I don't hear him anymore, I slowly open the door and walk outside after checking left and right. Suddenly, someone grabs me from behind and throws me into the deep pool.

I scream in midair yelling a few choice words to him. The lifeguard yells at me about children being in here and Ken laughs loudly. Once I swim back out, I glare at him.

"Fine, we're even." I growl at him. He just smiles and walks to the pool. He grabs my hand and jumps inside pulling me with him. I yelp as we go down.

We both come up coughing for air and laugh. The boys soon join us and so does dad and Kate.

Once we're all done swimming, when the park closes, we go home. Caden warms up to Ken but still holds his grudge against dad. They drop us off and we open the door to mom eating on the couch.

"Hey kids! How did your day go?" She asks us. We all reply with vigorous nods and extravagant answers. Kate goes into talking about her boyfriend again, totally forgetting Ken. I inwardly have a sigh of relief. I am not ready for her to talk about Ken the rest of our lives. Caden and Tommy, being exhausted, fall asleep on the couch. Mom allows it and I also go to bed since we have school tomorrow.

I guess Ken is starting school tomorrow so I volunteered to show him around before Kate could. I do not want him to suffer with her flirting with him all day.
