Aelxys watched painfully as his brother looked so distant from the young man he once was, the person that was filled with much happiness now all broken. His brother layed silent on their sisters lap, cheeks red from tears he previously showed from his vulnerability. Aslan now fast asleep in his twins lap, as Kyra ran a hand through his hair, keeping him in his much needed sleep.
"He was betrayed." Kyra whispered softly, though her tone was harsh with rage.
"He was in love, he did not know." Aelxys eyes never left his brothers resting body, though he too was outraged like his sister, "he has the right to feel like this."
Kyra shook her head, "but he shouldn't. He shouldn't feel like he is dying because of a disloyal woman."
"He shouldn't, but he is. We must leave him to feel until he is ready to move on, it is the only thing we can do." Aelxys did not want to witness his brother slowly trying to destroy himself over Alicent. But he had all right to, "there were whispers of a someone visiting Viserys late nights, I should've noticed, I should've--"
"But we did not know, and we were all fooled. Perhaps she is just like her father, lusted her way through to have her blood on the throne." Kyra consoled her older brother from blaming himself, they were all fooled.
Aelxys scoffed, "Perhaps but we must console to our brother. Maybe it is time that you both return to Kantos, leave this ickle place." He told Kyra.
"It would be best, our brother shouldn't suffer when that girl marries Viserys." Kyra looked to Aelxys, "and what of you? Will you be staying for Rhaenyra?"
"I have no reason to, we are not betrothed. And I cannot leave you and Aslan to travel alone. I have no important need to stay." Aelxys smiled lowly, avoiding his sisters knowing gaze.
"Aelxys--" But before Kyra could inform her brother a knock from behind the door was heard.
Aelxys stood and opened the door, he was shocked when he saw Rhaenyra standing there. Her eyes were red, indicating she had cried before she chose to come here. He too noticed the obvious anger on her facial expressions as well.
