I can feel myself floating. Mixtures of purple, blue, and gold invade my eyesight.

Where I'm I? Am I floating? This feels like a dream.

'Your stronger than you think.' A voice sounded.

Who are you? I tried to ask, but no words came out.

'When the opportunity arises, stand and fight. Power lays within you.' The voice rang out again.

What do you mean?

I didn't receive an answer before everything faded away.

------------------------------------------

"Do you think she's okay?" A far off voice said.

"I'm not sure. She hit her head pretty hard." Another one sounded.

I tried to open my eyes, blinking as light filtered in. Everything seemed kind of blurry. I managed to sit up but a pounding pain drilled into the right side of my head.

"Oh no dear! You should lie back down. You took quite a spill." A gentle and sweet voice sounded.

I looked up to see a young women with chestnut brown hair braided with a pink ribbon and beautiful green eyes. It suddenly dawned on me who this person is.

"Areith!" I exclaimed happily.

She looked at me startled, as if she didn't know me. They didn't forget me, did they?

"I'm sorry. Do I know you?" She asked as kindly as possible.

"It's me, Kairi." I said hoping I would ring a bell.

Her eyes widened at the sudden realization, then she attacked me in a super tight hug.

"Oh Kairi I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you! I'm so happy to see you!" She cried.

I wrapped my own arms around her, trying to get some air.

"It's okay Areith. I'm happy to see you too!" I said smiling.

"Hey Areith, I got the bandages you nee-- uh what's going on? Asked a petite girl with short black hair and brown eyes.

"Hi Yuffie." I said, still trying to breath in Areiths choke hold.

She looked a little confused at how I knew her name.

"Yuffie, it's Kairi!" Areith exclaimed happily, sounding like she might cry.

Recognition dawned in her eyes. In less than five seconds the ninja girl threw herself on top of me, squeezing my other side.

Now I had a death lock on either side of me. I could feel all the oxygen force itself out of my lungs.

"What's going in here? Why are you choking the girl we found?" Said a slightly grouchy voice from the door.

We turned to see a young man with dark brown hair and a scar running vertically over his face. He was holding an ice pack to the side of his head.

"Leon you won't believe who it is! It's Kairi!" Yuffie yelled excitedly, nearly busting my ear drum.

He looked me over and brief recognition flashed in his eyes.

"If you're so happy to see her you might not want her to die of suavation." He said indicating to my now purple face.

"Oh! Sorry dear." Said Areith as she and Yuffie released me.

I gasped for air and my headache came back. I gingerly put my hand to my head. Areith looked at me concerned.

"Are you alright?" She asked worriedly.
