"WHO STOLE MY APPLE JUICE FROM THE FRIDGE?" i scream as im searching for the apple juice i clearly hid inside the fridge.

"silver nobody wants your apple juice" i hear a female voice mumble behind me.

"explain why its not here then?!" i angrily say slamming the fridge and facing her .

i notice kafka sitting on the table while drinking her iced coffee like always but... something is different.

"okay, whats wrong?" i ask her while taking a deep sigh sitting on a chair facing the table shes sitting on.

"why would anything be wrong?" she answers followed with a smile.

"youre not-" before i get to finish i get interrupted by a phone text from none other than elio.

boss 😬 : silverwolf i need you to take a look at Xianzhou Luofu. ~ 9:23 AM

SW : on it boss. ~ 9:24 AM

gosh.. what a horrible timing..

"ugh.. nevermind Kafka i need to go, ask blade about my apple juice tho!" i say while walking and waving.

KAFKAS POV

gosh that girl needs a break.

hmm....

what should i do?

"kafka what-" i suddenly hear a male voice behind me immediately recognising who it belongs to.

"blade lets go on that date!" my eyes light up as i hit the confused guy with this question.

"oh.. sure, where to?" blade is clearly caught off guard by the suddenness.

"anywhere! come on lets go!" i quickly jump off the table and throw my can of iced coffee in the trash.

TIMESKIP

when were finally outside after taking care of everything, we need to decide on a location.

"where do we go, Kafka?" blade looks at me questioning.

"i'm really craving this coffee flavoured ice cream.. let's go to the store." i answer while looking at Blade happily.

Blade just nods in agreement and starts walking.

"gosh what's with you and coffee stuff?"

"hey! its delicious you can't blame me."

"it's bad for you."

"it's still delicious."

after walking for about 6 minutes i stop for a second.

i notice this red glowing stone on the floor, it looks unique and gorgeous.

i pick it up.

"huh it sure is quite strange." Blade has stopped with me to look at the stone in my hand.

"it's really pretty." i respond still mesmerised by this peculiar stone.

....

Blade drops on his knees groaning in pain.

"HUH? BLADE WHAT HAPPENED." i drop the stone and quickly bend down to help him.

"the demons are back. i can feel their presence."

"huh?? i removed them tho didn't i?!" i look at him shocked and confused.

"Kafka.. your eyes..."

"what?? what's with my eyes?!"

"they're... red like the stone."

"huh? you're speaking nonsense! let me remove the demons again." i stare at him worried.

i close my eyes.

something is wrong.

my powers.. they're gone.

"Kafka! watch out!"

before i can react Blade jumps in front of me.

"that was close.." Blade turns to me after i almost got ambushed.

without realising it, a tear rolls down my face.

"why are you crying? what's wrong??"

"they're gone, my powers."

"it's okay Kafka, no need to tear up, let's just go back."

"SERIOUSLY? WHAT TYPE OF PERSON PICKS UP A RANDOM GLOWING ROCK WHILE BEING WANTED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE!" silverwolf yells at me.

"she didn't know, no need to be so harsh." Blade covers for me.

"Blade you do realise this puts us all in danger? that rock could've been a tracker, or even a curse!" silverwolf snaps back at him.

"Blade she's right, and i can't even contain your demons anymore." i finally speak up myself.

"Kafka if Elio finds out about this you won't be of any use to him! you could lose your job as a stellaron hunter!!" silverwolf says with concern in her voice.

Blade looks at silverwolf with fearful eyes.
"seriously? that can happen?!"

"im afraid so... but its okay! we'll find a way to fix this before he knows about this." silverwolf answers trying to hide her fear.

my thinking gets interrupted as a i get a message.

dear archon.. please don't be Elio. please don't be Elio...

boss 😐 : silverwolf, i need to have a talk with you. ~ 11 : 55 AM

SW : what's up boss? ~

boss 😐 : i know about Kafka. come to my location, do not tell a word of this to anyone. ~
