Ch:2 Something's Off

Just a regular day. The only difference- school has opened. After the long vacation getting up early was annoying.

(Liam's POV)

I, Liam Jones, heard the door shut. Of course, FBI parents off to work again. Y can't they stay for one day at home at least. The secret of my parent's job has not been shared with anyone except our close friends, The Millers. Their son David Miller was my best friend from childhood. We did everything together. That's a good description of us both. On to the most boring day of my life.

I walked to school along with Dave (short for David). Well, he didn't want to but walking is good for health. On the way I felt a chill on my back. I turned round but did not see anyone. On seeing me, David asked-

David- Hey what's going on bro? Ur mind seems disturbed.

Me- Nothing, just a feeling that someone is following us.

David- Oh! U think it's one of our enemies?

Me- What enemies!?

David- (Laughing) Liam, It's just ur instinct tingling. Srsly, if ppl were following us even I would hv felt it.

Me- Ig...

We reached Connecticut International School where the girl got killed just a yr ago. Did I shock u for a sec? IJK. This school has a cool atmosphere.
