I searched for an exit while Liam rescued our friends from their tight hold. I checked every nook and corner. After what seemed like an hour, I felt a hollow in the wall.
Me(thinking)- Every kidnapper would hv some secret place or just a home to keep children. This is just like an escape room. I am great at those. Pls work, Pls work.
I pushed the very hollo and Lo behold! A secret door.
Liam- Good work!
Me- Thanks!
We went inside, worried what would happen next. For some reason David started laughing.
David- Oh God! This is a similar industrial research lab, Thomas Edison innovation. Beats me why our kidnapper would need a room like this.
Emma- Wait, so u know what it is. Can u get us out of this place. I am freaking out over. There is a spider already over there.
David- Emma, do u hv ur phone.
Emma- Yes I do. Y?
David- Pass it to me. (After giving the phone) U know that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb right?
Liam- Ya, so what does 'this' relate to ur sentence.
David- So there was a small mystery related to him. He was working his own way to one of his inventions when a part of it went missing. That very part could not be put again. There have been many stories revolving around. It has been said that part was stolen by one of his rivals or another story came up that the part burnt by itself.
Me- Ur point is-
David- IDK. If the part has been missing for decades y is it there nw?
Somebody- Good Job! U four have been clever to solve the first part of our mystery.
Who is this unknown person? What first part of mystery? Was he, our kidnapper? All these questions went through my mind just when I heard a familiar sound.
