Chapter 2: Refugee from another world

The next day, Ford wakes up just like any others, though the Goddess squad members were more or less alright with them being here, but on the other hand, he still have to think of of how to talk to them about bringing all of the people from where he comes from to this one and that they'll have a place to stay.

Though something unexpected happen.

Agent is here. 

He came to this world to checks on what's going on around here and meet up with the Goddess Squad. It was something to say the least.

"Why are you here?" Ford asking Agent that now he's here and all, but why now?

"Ah right, I heard that we're bringing everyone from our world to this one right?" He replies as he knows the plan that both the GOC and the Foundation initiated.

"That would be correct." Carter replies, "But we only have one portal so that would be taking longer than it should... unless you know how to use magic to open dimensional portal."

"I am not really in that part of thaumaturgy but I can opens portal alright." Agent says as he waves his hand, a portal shows up out of thin air as the Goddess Squad members stared in awe while the others acknowledged it.

"I'll leave this to you then. You'll go back there and help everyone from other sites while we focused on the one with the portal." Ford tells Agent as he nodded.

"I'll take that and do it." Agent replies as he then goes through the portal to do what he has to.

The Goddess Squad still confused on what just happen. But then again, they are here with people from another world with technology that is on another level compared to them. Not to mention they got told to calm down by them as well.

"So... what was that all about?" Lilith asks.

"We need your help. The situation here is... the sun from our world is turning living organism into fleshy monsters. Though 'monsters' usually being the very small part of what we actually do but right now, do you guys know what places that humans now reside in?" Ford asks Lilith as he needs a place right now.

"How much people would that be-"

"About few hundred thousands. Is there a place that can let that much people live?" Jeremiah asks.

The Goddess Squad members look at each other, they then decided to tell them since they can also get benefit from them as well.

"Alright, there's a place called the Ark that is built by the Big Three." Lilith says.

"And where should that be?" Ford asks.

"We can't exactly tell you but we will let those who have access help you lead the survivors from your world to the Ark." The Commander says.

"Well that'll be wonderful." Jeremiah says as he smiled. 

Now the plan is in process, as the joint operation now being leading everyone from their world to this world.

They came back through the portal to the Site 19 as they announced of what they've found. A new world, a new opportunity despite there's an invasion happening there.

A lot of people felt reluctant to go but with how the outside of this world is, it's might as well be better if they followed through.

As everyone wears a suit for protection, they then ready to step through the portal, group by group. Some SCPs that are nice and kind are also allowed to be through as well.

The hostile ones are left here to this world as a whole.

Not to mention, there's Agent on the hand getting everyone out of the Sites through the portal as well. 

Not only just that but there's also a lot of equipments, anomalous techs alongside gadgets are also getting through through the use of military trucks, there's even a tank followed also.

After getting everything through, they wait for someone to get there and pick them up onto the road to get to the Ark.

And eventually, someone did. They then help lead not just the refugee, but also the Foundation and GOC personnel that are driving the trucks back to the Ark.

Though in the way they are met with some Raptures. But that was no problems, armored with technology of the paranormal, they blasted through the Raptures easily, and no casualty happens.

Eventually, they got to the Ark, and each of the refugees got a ticket before entering due to the Ark being a place that required you to have a ticket to get in.

The driver that leads the whole squadron to the Ark then thanks the personnel and then he gets up and back onto doing his job.

The rest then settle down in the Ark, while the Joint Operation Force, Ford and Jeremiah Carter were watching how well this was going, and it's all in line. 

"So, what else we need to do?" Agent asks as he comes from behind, with Ford and Jeremiah now put their attention to him.

"Now... we protect them. Or for the better, we end the Raptures once and for all." Ford says.

"You know... I could just... bend reality to make the Raptures go away." Agent says.

"Save your strength, pal. We're gonna need reality bender like you here in this place. Other than 'god', reality benders and some of the mages and wizards, you are one of the most valuable personnel right now." Jeremiah says as he puts his hand on Agent.

"Well... alright then... I'll try my best." He replies, though skeptical, but he's ready.

"Alright then, time to go back to what we always do before. Secure, Contain and Protect. But this time, mainly Protect." Ford says.

"I don't like the Secure and Contain parts, but I agreed on the Protect." Jeremiah says due to him from the GOC, but afterall, their new objective is now to protect the people here, and might as well get rid of the Raptures once and for all.
