I haven't seen Mello all day. though that is not surprising considering the fact I've been sitting up a tree all day. i jumped out of the tree and headed for our room.
the second i enter the room is the second i see Mello's hateful eyes directed at me. Those dreadful eyes that he saved specifically for L, Light and Near. why is he looking at me that way?
then when i looked in his hand , my heart stops.
My notebook.
Oh God No! Wait, don't say anything stupid. Just act natural... yeah!
"sup Mells?" i say, cautious of his reaction.
" your one of them! your a fucking FAG" Mello shouts. I winced slightly from the vile language and harsh tone. Sure, Mello sweared a lot and sure, he'd directed it at me before, but this? this much hatred.... I c-cant take it!
" YOUR FUCKED UP MATT! THIS IS REPULSIVE, DISGUSTING EVEN!" He continued to scream at the top of his lungs. Great, by the end of this the whole orphanage will know I'm gay! Tears welled up in my eyes causing my googles to slip and fall to my chest.
" If t-there was a w-way to change t-this , i w-ould Mells! " i stuttered, tears finally breaking through and poring down my already red, crest fallen face.
Voice becoming more timid.
He continued to say some other bullshit and failed to notice my whole world was crumbling down. Every wall id ever pieced together to keep me protected from the outside wall disintegrating with every repulsive word that spewed from his mouth.
i become light headed and my body begins to fall. The last thing i see is Mello rushing towards me. And then i see no more.
when i open my eyes, the first thing i see is Mello. tear stains evident on his perfect face.
"mell are you oka-..." Before i can finish, his lips are on mine. at first im in shock, then my body responds and i kiss back. yeah screw the world, im in love with him. Its over to fast and hes pulling away. When i look up i see the fear on his face and it terrifies me.
" Mells...."
"Somethings wrong with me."
" Mello what are you talking abou-"
" i had a stupid idea to, you know, kiss you. But when i did..." Oh God.
" i enjoyed it."
