A day before the wedding

The whole Cloud Recesses was busy in the preparations of the wedding. Surprisingly the lectures went by in an blink of an eye with every student obeying the rules including Wei Wuxian.

Everyone were happy and cheerful but the couple who are gonna be married looked like they are preparing for a funeral when they were left alone.

"Wei Wuxian!" Jiang Cheng's voice resounded at the place as he was searching for his Shijie more precisely his Er-Jie throughout the Cloud Recesses when he finally ended up here.

Wei Wuxian back to wearing her normal head disciple uniform heard her Didi's voice boom near her which sounded a bit frustrated so she stood up and walked out into the clearing and spotted her Didi and called out to him "A-Cheng! I'm here!" She waved her hand as she did and Jiang Cheng spotted breathing a air of relief and goes towards her with a neutral face.

Wei Wuxian saw the neutral face and got worried abit as she asked "Hey....Are you alright Chengcheng?" She caresses his cheek as she asks and he leans into the touch with a nod clearing her worry away abit. "Then why do you look like this...? Did something happened between you and Xuan-Ge or is it with Yu Furen again?" Asked Wei Wuxian as she got curious on why her Shidi looked so normal....too normal for her liking.

"No...nothing happened between us, I just....I just feel like I'll miss you when start staying here.....that's all...." Jiang Cheng said touching the hand on his cheek which is caressing him. Wei Wuxian's face softens as she heard it and pinches his cheek while asking in a teasing soft voice "Oh really? I thought my Shidi would love to live without me when said that himself, Did I heard it wrong or is it a change of mind?"

"Hey! Once in a while I say something sensable and you have to tease the hell out of me to ruin the moment!?" Jiang Cheng said pushing the hand away that was pinching his cheek gently.

He received a chuckle as a answer to his question as he starts talking about the real he came to talk about "Hey wanna go to Caiyi town and have a small party over for the last night as a single? Just the two of us"

"I don't see why not and I intend to get drunk today if we are gonna go so it is better if you are the only one to be there...." Said Wei Wuxian with a smile that had a hint of sadness to it.

"Okay Go and get ready and I'll be at the entrance waiting for you...." Jiang Cheng said as he received a nod and Wei Wuxian goes to get ready for the small party.
