(A/N: if I use this style "style" then it means that the one speaking is drunk or had been drugged and were speaking like one, it's also used for showing some past scenes and If I use this style "style" then it means something important or an emergency and this style "style" for something special or emotional or heartbreaking)

Morning a hour before the marriage

Wuxian could be seen sitting in front of the mirror, dressed in her wedding robes, getting final touches of her make up as the Jiang family except who was already there helping her get ready arrived in the room.

(Note: She is dressed in the same way as in the above picture with veil on her head covering her face and of course the hair ornaments for which I leave them to your imagination as you prefer)

Wuxian notices them and sends away the maid helpers saying "I think that's enough touch up for me, you all can go and take rest and come back when I call you for. I thank you all again for helping me out today" All the maids bow to her and gives their best wishes and exits the room giving space to the family.

Wuxian hides a hiss as she turns to her family and smiles while asking "Are you guys here to take me to the sedan already? Don't tell me you all are trying to get rid of me as soon as possible" pouting at the end.

"Can't you be serious for once in your life Wei Wuxian? And why would we take you to a sedan when we are already in Cloud recesses huh?  We are here to give you something from each one of us for you to remember your maternal house! That's a ritual remember!?" Jiang Cheng said as he flicks Wuxian's forehead earning him a whine from the other as she says pouting "Hey! You don't have to hit me to say that!"

Jiang Cheng just sticks out his tongue at her and turns his head away from her. "Now now you two don't start fighting" Says Jiang Yanli as she comes in between her siblings who had no choice but to obey her.

"Now that that's over, Let's start the ritual with A-Cheng as he took the initiative to remind A-Xian about the ritual" Jiang Fengmian said smiling as he saw his son freeze in his place hearing it but reluctantly reaches his hands near his belt which have two big and thin scrolls.

Wuxian watches curiously and widens her eyes in shock and sadness as she saw as he opened the two scrolls revealing the content as she says shakily "A-A-Cheng....this...this is....."

The first scrolls reveals the portrait the whole Jiang family including Wuxian who stood in between with Jiang Yanli on the right along with Jiang Fengmian and Jiang Cheng on the left along with Yu Ziyuan. The family of five were all smiling happily with Wuxian grinning brightly and happily. Seeing it Wuxian couldn't help but feel sad about the fact that she now have part ways with her family and sect.

While the second scroll reveals the portrait of Wuxian and Wangji together looking at each other with eyes full of love while holding onto each other with Wangji's hand on Wuxian's waist and Wuxian's hand on Wangji's chest. Both were smiling at each other lovingly. Wuxian felt happiness and sadness at the same time. Happiness that she and Wangji looked happy together and sadness that she didn't know if it'll ever come true or remain as a dream.

Tears streamed down Wuxian's face, disregarding her makeup's fate, a blend of joy and sorrow overwhelming her. She launched herself toward Jiang Cheng, caught just in time, as Jiang Yanli swiftly retrieved the scrolls, sensing the tears welling in Wuxian's eyes.

Mindful of her injuries, Jiang Cheng rubbed her back, containing his own emotions, and softly urged, "Hey, don't cry now. Do you want to look like a ghost at your own wedding?"

Wuxian managed a chuckle, separating from the hug, wiping her tears away, and smiling, "A-Cheng, you know what? Please don't try to talk softly again. It's weird seeing the soft side after the years of grumpiness."
