Inside the Library Pavilion

Both Wangji and Wuxian reached the Library pavilion holding eachothers hands and as soon as they closed the doors the hands that were holding eachother, seperated almost immediately and both put a distance in between them, walked to their respectful places and started doing their work silent until.

Wuxian spoke pausing her hands without facing him "What is the punishment for Shufu?"

"Had to copy all the sets of Lan Clan rules and write a apology letter to you" Wangji replied without lifting his head up.

"Are you mad at me?" asked Wuxian slightly tightening her grip on the brush she is holding.

"Wei Ying didn't do anything wrong. There is nothing for me to be mad at you." Wangji repiled finally lifting his head only to see her lowered head masking her expressions from him.

"Don't you think I went a bit over board." Asked Wuxian setting the brush on the ink slab.

Wangji got up and went near her table, sitting infront of it as he spoke "Wei Ying, raise your head"

Reluctantly Wuxian raised her head up showing her face and eyes, which were filled with guilt and sadness, to Wangji but still didn't look him in the eyes.

"Look at me, Wei Ying" spoke Wangji and when she did he said "Wei Ying have nothing to worry about. You didn't do anything wrong. Hence, there is no need to feel any guilt for something you were not at fault."

Wuxian felt her mood lighten up at Wangji's words bringing a soft smile to her face as she said "Lan Zhan....Thank You..."

"Mn" with that Wangji went back to do his work knowing that he somehow managed raise her mood.

Wuxian continued copying the rules but got bored of it eventually and looked across thinking 'When everyone at Yunmeng got to know that I'm gonna marry Lan Zhan, my Shidis felt sad that I won't be able to stay with them but they got over it very quickly with my promise of frequent visits. But every girl in Yunmeng envied that I would spend my whole life with him. I can't blame them though cause it is quite normal as he is so handsome even so I can't help but feel irritated by that. He is my Lan Zhan after all. Only. Mine.'

While Wuxian spaced out, Wangji was recopying ancient books, which were not only old but also unavailable to most others, in the Lan Sect's Library Pavilion. His brushstrokes were slow and steady, and his handwriting was neat yet sharply vigourous. Wuxian, who snapped out, couldn't tolerate her thoughts anymore and went near him complimenting him sincerely after watching what he was doing "Those are some great characters! They're of the top level."

'No matter how many times I saw his handwriting in all those letter, it never fails to amaze me' thought Wuxian after giving the complement.

Wangji looked at her and gave a "Mn" as a response and continued writing.

"Lan Zhan, I'm bored. Please talk to about something while I copy the rules." Whined Wuxian as she went back to her table.

Wangji sighed and again went to her but this time sat beside her saying "Want to know more about Wei Ying. Don't want to make a mistake infront of others"

Wuxian smiled hiding her sadness saying "But haven't we been sending letters to eachother for in these three years aren't we?"

"Mn. But it's different when we say it ourselves." Replied Wangji.
