Coming back to reality from Jobe's, Ella's, Sophia's, and Jeremiah's bubble of saving their lives and the world... things were going on back in the overworld, Earth. Nene had been trying to reach her friends but had no luck when doing so. She had been going around to the places where these tragedies had stricken them with some familiar faces; Sean and Kayla. There was one unfamiliar face however, Kayla's girlfriend Jenny. They visited the hotel where this chain of events had started and came to find that the destruction that Jobe, Ella and Ava had once seen on it was gone. It had been fixed and looked normal. They went inside to see if there was anything that was out of the ordinary. The person operating at the front desk was normal, but that wouldn't help to find any answers. They needed to go back down into the basement where Cryptious had taken them to his museum. They had a plan. Sean was going to ask to get a room and they were going to sneak down to the basement area. The lady in front seemed to be the only person working there which was weird due to how fancy the place was. Sean was now distracting the woman and the others went down into the basement. Jenny picked the lock on the door and they got in. They went up to the bookshelf and pushed it back to go down the stairs. As they got to the bottom Nene noticed how different this place looked now. The whole underground area hadn't been fixed since it had collapsed a few years ago. It looked like a sinkhole had opened up and swallowed the floor below the giant pillars in this place that had collapsed. Nene looked down and noticed an orange light illuminating from a large crack below. She turned her phone flashlight on and faced it towards the crack. It was shaped like a disproportionate x. Around it was a black vine like material that was slowly moving, making the x shaped crack bigger. They heard treacherous sounds from below, screams, growls, and a laugh that haunted their brains with its wicked nature.
