chapter 1: chosen for greatness.

Minato Namikaze was known as the Yellow Flash of the Hidden Leaf village.
The Flash is known as the fastest man alive. But what if Minato and the Flash were the same person?.

What if the speed force had chosen Minato before meeting Kushina and covered it up with the use of lightning release and flying Raijin teleportation jutsu and that the speed force was inherited by Naruto when he was born.

At 5 years old Naruto was homeless and had been struck by lightning jumpstarting his super-speed bloodline.

Villagers had cornered Naruto in an ally.
Adrenaline pumping through him just before he was struck by a kunai and shuriken the Villagers saw a flash of light as this happened time slowly came to a stop around Naruto as he'd walked past the Villagers and was confused but thought nothing of it.

As time resumed normally outside the speed force the ninja in the crowd realized that the demon brat somehow escaped them. All they remembered was seeing a bright orange and red flash of light and then the target of their hatred was gone and behind them. In a flash.

This sent chills down their spines as they were having flashbacks of the yellow flash 4th Hokage's teleportation jutsu.

Putting 2 and 2 together they knew they had fucked up. There was a new yellow flash but this one wore orange instead.

The Adrenaline finally stopped and his heart rate slowly decreased back to normal as time for naruto had resumed normally, but he didn't understand why he'd moved so fast or how for that matter. All he knew was he had power.

A power unique only to himself and only himself. He could move faster then sound faster then light even. 

He wouldn't abuse this power but at the same time he'd train his body to get accustomed to handling and controlling it under certain circumstances.  With some practice after that naruto tried to see what else he could do.

Surprisingly he'd realized that by focusing on increasing his heart rate he could control the amount of Adrenaline he'd have running through his body.

He also discovered that he was capable of vibrating certain parts of his body through solid objects such as concrete walls and even create mini tornadoes with his arms even running around fast enough he'd accidentally created a hurricane.

Only when he stopped did it stop. In that moment, naruto realized the only limit to his newly acquired abilities was his imagination.

And everyone knew that an imaginative naruto was a very VERY dangerous Naruto Uzumaki. His prankster mentality being the key element to his imaginative ways he'd take training at the academy more seriously for once.

But for every positive there's a negative.
And just like Barry Allen and reverse flash sasuke would be chosen by the negative speed force at some point.

But something else also awakened within Naruto that day. His intellectual learning skills had increased, what took everyone else in his class hours to read and pay attention to then retain.

Naruto had been capable of reading, learning, and retaining in a matter of complete seconds getting bored not long after. Seeing he'd had time and nobody would notice him missing he went to ichiraku, grabbed a bowl of his favorite ramen to go for lunch then in split seconds returned to the academy for the lunch bell. Naruto ate his lunch in peace and after lunch was taijutsu practice.

He was matched up with sasuke by Mizuki and sure enough time slowed down for him while it moved normally for sasuke. From every other person's point of view they just saw a flash of light and suddenly sasuke was on the ground spitting up blood from the force of the super sonic punch naruto used.
