I waved at Niall as he sat in the recording booth with his guitar about to sing his part in Where Do Broken Hearts Go. I smiled at him.
"Counted all my mistakes and there's only one standing out from the list of the things *hiccup* I've done. All the *hiccup* rest of my crimes *hiccup* don't come close to *hiccup* the..."
"Ok Niall stop!" The director said. Niall hiccuped and walked out of the recording booth looking sad.
"Niall you can't sing with hiccups. Get rid of them and we'll continue." The guy said.
Niall looked at me with puppy eyes still hiccuping.
"Drink some water Ni." I suggested. Niall picked up a bottle of water and sipped at it. We waited.
"Babe I think they're *hiccup*...gone." Niall sighed and kicked the floor.
"Hold your breath for ten seconds."
Niall held his breath his face going red. At 8 seconds a hiccup interrupted him and we both sighed. After fifteen minutes Niall was still hiccuping and in tears. I held him close and he sobbed and hiccuped on my shoulder.
"Shh babe don't cry you'll make them worse. Shhh." I soothed stroking his hair. Niall cuddled into me as we sat there in silence the only sound being Niall's hiccups.
Niall's P.O.V
I don't like hiccups. They hurt my head and throat. Why won't they go away? I curled up against Y/n my face in her side as I hiccuped into it tears spilling down my cheeks. I sniffled and thought of an idea. I stood up and stood on my head.
"What are you doing babe?" Y/n giggled.
"Making my hiccups go away." I replied.
She waited.

*hiccup*
I fell hard on my back and just lay there staring at the ceiling. Y/n rushed to my side.
"Oh baby are you hurt? Stay there love you might've hurt your spinal cord." Y/n panicked.
"Ughhh." I moaned still hiccuping. I pouted my lip trembling. I rolled over my back hurting a bit but otherwise fine.
"M *hiccup* fine." I said. I felt the tears pricking at my eyes.
"Shhh you're alright. It's alright Niall you're alright." Y/n cooed stroking my hair. I let out a sob and she frowned looking sad. She stood up and walked out of the room. I curled up on the sofa and cried. I ended up falling asleep.

I awoke and rubbed my eyes wanting to find Y/n.
"Y/n!! Where *hiccup* are you??" I yelled running about. I ran into the kitchen and looked about.
"ROAR!!" Someone yelled. I screamed hard and burst into tears frightened. Arms went around me and I turned seeing Y/n hugging me.
"W-why d-did you d-do that?" I sobbed.
"Oh love! I was trying to scare your hiccups away!" She said.
We waited for a minute as I sniffled. It worked. They were gone.
"Oh t-they're gone." I sniffled wiping my nose. Y/n nodded and hugged me tightly kissing my head. I yawned and nuzzled against her. She kissed my lips.
"I love you Nialler."
"I love you too Y/n." I mumbled.
