Me and Niall sat backstage knowing that four people out there could probably change his life. He had his head in my neck his arms around my waist and I knew he was nervous. I stroked his hair kissing it.
"You're gonna get four yes's baby. And that's a promise." I whispered.
"How can you promise that? We all know what Simon's like. He only wants the best."
"And you are the best."
Niall gave a small smile just as Demort O Leary came over to us.
"They're ready for you now Niall. Good luck." He smiled as I lead Niall to the stage.
"I love you. Make me proud baby." I smiled before kissing his lips as he went onstage.
Niall's P.O.V
"Alright dublin?" I gave a small smile as I went onstage. Maybe I could do this.
"Hello. What's your name?" Louis asked.
"N-Niall."
"Niall...Niall what?"
"Horan." Shit I made a mistake already.
"How old are you Niall?"
"I'm sixteen Louis." I said.
"And Niall why are you here today?" Katy asked with a smile.
"I'm here to be the best artist I can be...in the world." I confirmed.
"Alright. When you're ready." Simon nodded.
I started singing so sick by Ne-yo. "And I know it makes no sense since you walked out the door but it's the only way I hear your voice anymore..."
The music suddenly stopped and I froze.
"Uh I think you're adorable and you have charisma...I think you should work on it I mean you're only sixteen! I started out when I was fifteen and I didn't make it till I was twenty three!" Katy said and my heart sank.
"Uhh...you're unprepared you came with the wrong song...you're not as good as you thought you were...but I still like you!" Simon said and I cheered up a bit.
"You're adorable but I'm sorry the songs too big for ya babe." Cher said and I pouted a bit.
"Well I think you're really likeable! I think people will like you just because you're likeable!" Louis said and I grinned.
"Now we're gonna vote!"
I swallowed my hands sweating.
"Well I'm gonna say yes!" Simon smiled.
"I'm gonna say no..." Cher said sadly and I felt like crying.
"I'm giving you a yes!" Louis said.
"What?!" Katy said shocked. I frowned and looked at y/n.
"Don't worry sweetheart." She whispered.
"Katy he needs three yes's!" Louis exclaimed.
"Look I agree with Cher. And Louis it doesn't matter if he's likeable I mean likeableness is not gonna sell records. You need talent. And you have...a seed of it." Katy said.
"COME ON!!" Louis shouted.
Pure dead silence. I swallowed and licked my lips anxiously. Y/n had her eyes closed praying silently.
"Of course. You're in!"
"YESSSSSS!!!" I screamed jumping in the air. The crowd screamed and cried while I jumped around the stage like a bluebottle.
"Don't let us down!!" Katy shouted.
"I won't!!" I grinned running off stage and into y/n's arms.
*one year later*
Your P.O.V
Niall grinned at me as he grabbed his guitar. "I love you." He whispered before running on stage with his band mates. Harry Styles Louis Tomlinson Zayn Malik and Liam Payne. They had been out together as a band on the X factor and now they were number one in the whole world. As they sang their first song I couldn't help but feel proud of my prince. He hadn't let us down.
