Hyunjin was currently working. He had taken more shifts during spring break, which passed faster than what he could ever imagine. In two days they would be all going back to school which, unfortunately wasn't very ideal considering he had to stay after school hours to clean around. In the brighter side though, he would be sitting next to his best friend again which made him look forward to it a little. Hyunjin was taking orders, another costumer came to the register, or so he thought. It was the same customer as earlier and they didn't seem...happy.

"Hello, can I help you with something?" Hyunjin said curiously. "Hello, yes, I'm Ms. Kim I would've assumed you remembered that. I can't help but ask where the other part of my oder is its been 15 minutes of wait" Hyunjin, was puzzled to say the least. "Well Ms. Kim, I'm sorry to hear that but earlier I told you that you'd have to wait about 20 minutes for your 3 pistachio muffins since they were still being made" "You don't seem to be capable to do anything!" Hyunjin jumped at the sudden scream and covered his ears. "All these people from your generation should be ashamed! Can't do anything as simple as handle an order without disrespecting your elders!" The tall male covered and uncovered his ears repeatedly while the lady kept screaming at him over and over. The expression on the lady was no longer distaste but rather aversion and cringe and it had been because of Hyunjins reaction.

Felix took notice of what was going on and went over. "Disregarding my words and-!" The freckled boy stepped in. "Is there a problem?" Felix softly pushed the older to the side and walked infront of him. the woman looked at Hyunjin up and down almost as if she was disgusted. "Yes my order hasn't been given to me and I've been waiting 15 minutes!" Felix looked at her up and down but stopped trying to remain calm. "Could you tell me what you ordered?" The lady gave him the receipt aggressively which made the blonde give her a cheesed off look. He examined the receipt and looked back up at the customer. "Did the person who attended you tell you what you ordered would take some time?" "Well yes but it's been far too long! I have things to do!"

The blonde almost had it. "I'm sorry but I cannot make our oven go faster and if you were already aware your order would take some time you shouldn't have asked for it if you had important things to do" "The nerve! You people are so entitled!" Felix deadpanned, nah, the irony. That was rich coming from her. "Look lady, I'm also very busy right now and you're holding up the line. so why don't you do us both a favor and you sit and wait 5 more minutes or I give you a refund and you buy from somewhere else" She gasped. "Excuse me!?" The older woman took the drink she had in hand which was halfway full and threw it at Felix. "What the hell-!" The blonde said while cleaning the drink off his face so he could open his eyes. People were already looking but that made the whole store turn their heads and stare at the woman and what was unfolding.

Chan who was hearing over the conversation making sure the situation wouldn't escalate went over to the lady. "Please leave our store" The lady grunts "I want to see your manager!" "If you do not leave the store I will call security to remove you. So if you don't want to see yourself in a worse situation I suggest you leave willingly" "No!" "Our employees have been incredibly patient with you, if you still want a refund I will give it to you but this is your second warning to leave the store" The lady flipped her hair back. "Fine! and I don't want a fucking refund!" She left the store basically stumping leaving everyone in it aghast.

Hyunjin shakily went over to Felix with a napkin. "I'm sorry, I should've just dealt with it on my own" The younger shakes his head "And have a meltdown then have it worse by being all sticky? I don't think so. You've already been too long on here anyways it was time for you to switch" The taller bites his lip nervously. "I know I know I just.." "Hey its fine I'm proud of you" The freckled boy threw him a smile. "You ok?" Chans asks Felix worried. "Yeah I'm fine I wish I had another shirt though." "I have a hoodie in the back you can have it Lix" "Alright" "Also change your apron I wouldn't want coffee on my hoodie" Felix went to the back to change. Chan went over to Hyunjin and smiled. "You did good" Hyunjin gave him a quick glance and nodded. "Thank you.." The blonde put his fist up. "I know you aren't a physical touch kind of person but a fast fist bump isn't bad right?" Hyunjin smiled and giggled giving Chan a fist bump. "Alright go take a break you need it"

Hyunjin was drinking a lemonade and sitting on one of the tables outside. He was scrolling on his phone then some messages popped up. "Min☆" Well that was weird, wasn't that Minho? Felix's friend? He clicked on the message.

5:34 pm

Min: Hey Hyunjin-ssi~
Min: I know this might be unexpected but I would like to go with you to a cafe I have something to talk you about!
Min: don't be nervous it's nothing bad
Min: How about tomorrow at 2PM? if you aren't busy.. I'll send you the location! my treat ofc :]
J1NI3🌹: Oh sure sure! that's a few hours before my shift so it's perfect!
Min: Ok great! I can't talk much since I'm taking a small snack break but I'll meet you there 🙃
Min: oh, gtg!

Hyunjin took the bus with Felix again which was becoming a little more common than not. When it was too loud him and Felix would just text so Hyunjin could wear his headphones. But since he got out late most of the time the bus would be mostly empty so they would just talk. Well Felix did most of the talking but it didn't bother Hyunjin, it was kind of endearing actually. "Bye lixie!" "Bye Hyunjinnie stay safe!" Hyunjin got up and left the bus waving goodbye to Felix as the buss drove away. And as always he walked the next 5 minutes home.

When he got there he took of his shoes but he noticed there was 2 other pairs of shoes. Some run star hikes which, yeah he owned a pair but those were definitely too small for him. And some heels? His mom was rich yes, but she hardly used any heels let alone felt comfortable wearing them. He looked at the shoes perplexed one last time. Maybe his mom decided to wear heels...but what about the other pair of shoes? Was Seungmin here unannounced?
"..Mom? I'm home!" He heard foot steps aproach rapidly. "Hey! you're just in time!" Hyunjin knitted his brows "huh?" She grabbed Hyunjins hand dragging him to the dining room where the scent of food basically slapped him on the face. "Mom can you please-" A woman's voice cut him off. "Ah Hyunjin! It's so great to see you!" Hyunjins heart dropped, if his day couldn't get worse this was definitely the cherry on top. She went to hug the pink haired male which made him physically cringe. "Wow you've grown so much!" Mrs. Han squeezed his shoulders. Hyunjin averted his eyes to the table where Jisung was sitting awkwardly then back to the floor. "u-um yeah.." "Still shy as ever too"

Autism was like being queer to Hyunjin specially because it's so heavily looked down on in Korea. He could be open about it but had to be causios around certain people. He didn't know who he could tell, and he would tell anyone but his mom was not a fan of it.  She was incredible yes but when it came down to Hyunjins neurodivergency, it's almost as if he put her to shame.  So even if he wasn't at fault he avoided telling anyone that was associated to his mom. So naturally, anyone would just call him "shy" and pair him up with just being introverted.

"Anyways Hyunjin, sit sit. I made food for all of us, also say hi to Jisung" Hyunjin looked away from the floor but definitely did not look at anyone. "Hey Jisung-ssi.." Jisung bowed his head since he was sitting. "Hey.." Why is Han Jisung in his house, no why is he EVERYWHERE he wouldn't want him to be. Its almost like the universe was against Hyunjin.
