LOTTIE P.O.V

ONE WEEK LATER

After I met up with Steph a week ago, Kellin and I stopped talking. We got into a huge fight about everything; my past, our relationship, his marriage, everything. I think we're over. I couldn't handle that we we're over. It was my second day off work and Emme still had no clue what was going on. I dragged myself out of bed, my hair was a greasy knotty mess and all I had on was a black crop top and Cookie Monster pyjama pants. My eyes were rubbed raw and red, my pale skin was blotchy and my nose was pouring with mucous.

I heard water running in the bathroom so I thought Emme was in there. I decided that it was time to make a break for some food. I was wrong, Emme was in the kitchen. I didn't want her to see me like this. I quickly dashed back to my room.

"LOTTIE! I HEARD YOU!" Emme yelled and stood in my doorway.

I cursed under my breath. "Go away yeah?"

She grabbed my shoulders and dragged me to the kitchen. "No. You will sit her and tell me every single thing that is making you upset."

~~ONE WEEK AGO~~

Kellin and I arrived at the hotel that Steph was staying at hand in hand. We walked up to her room and we walked in without knocking. Steph flew into my arms and hugged me tightly.

"Lot I've missed you!" Steph exclaimed.

"Stephy I missed you too!" I exclaimed. "There's someone I want you to meet. Steph, this is Kellin. Kellin this is Steph."

This was an awkward revelation since Steph was wearing a Sleeping With Sirens shirt. Kellin gave her a winning smile. I didn't want to tell Steph we were dating, she'd never forgive me for dating a married man. I didn't know what I expected bringing him here, maybe I could convince her that we're just friends.

She shook his hand. "Oh my god Kellin Quinn! I love you."

He hugged her. "I love you too! Thanks for supporting us!"

Kellin wrapped his arm around my waist and I tried to pull away before Steph noticed, but it was too late.

A look of horror ensued on her features. Steph was quick witted and she knew instantly. "Lottie? How could you?!" Steph ran into the bathroom, crying.

"KELLIN! She wasn't meant to know about us!" I whispered-shouted.

"Why?" He hissed back.

I sighed. "You don't understand!"

He stood up and got in my face. "No I don't. I don't know anything about your family Lottie. I barely know you and I just told you I loved you! I didn't even know you had a sister before today! What was I thinking?!"

I inhaled shakily. "I'm trying to protect you. You don't want to know about my past and there's a reason Kellin. You don't want to know what me and Steph have been through! You came from perfection, I didn't!" I half screamed in his face and then I sighed.

"Fuck Lottie, I came from a place far from perfection. You have no clue. I'm waiting in the car, we'll talk later." He stormed off and slammed the door.

I knocked on the bathroom door.

"C'mon Steph, please? Let me explain." I said through the white door.

"No." She choked out. "You're just like Dad, I don't want to talk to you."

I closed my eyes, they started brimming with tears. "Please don't say that Steph. You don't mean it, do you?" I whispered.
