Birthday Party

This is my first fanfiction, and to be honest, the only piece of literature I have taken seriously. The idea behind this fanfiction was taking some key plot points from Joker and applying it to The Loud House with Luan Loud. I plan to add other reference's to movies in Actor as more chapters are added. My goal is create such a good fanfiction that it gets mention on TV Tropes website. I will try to keep the characters as true to the show as possible, at least in the beginning, by referencing The Loud House Wiki. However, some Original Character may need to added as the story goes on, though I will try to stick to the characters the show has provided. Enjoy the pilot chapter.

On the second floor of the Loud House, inside the bathroom at the end of the hallway was Luan Loud dressed in her clown outfit. She was preparing for one of her clown gigs she did at children's birthday parties, this one for a six year old named Winston.

She looked at herself in the mirror, admiring how her flowered bowling hat, daisy colored vest, green and black striped shirt, patched pants, comically large shoes, orange wig, rose pink tie and red clown nose blended into a humorous image, perfect for entertaining children.

"I just love the polyjester shirt" she punned to herself as she walked out of the bathroom.

As she passed by the rooms on the way to the stairs reflected on why she acted as a clown for birthdays. She was paid, yes, but that was a secondary motive. Money, after all, is merely a means to an end. The one, true driving reason was to give people a good time. This stemmed from an overarching desire, Luan thought, about bringing joy to people through comedy.

Luan's passion for comedy was as deeply ingrained in her as sports was for Lynn or music for Luna. It stemmed back as far as infancy, when she entertained her then significantly smaller family with sock puppets. As the years went by her ability to spread joy diversified, ranging from simple puns to practical jokes, which did at times get out of hand. Luan also explored the career of an actor, doing pantomime acts and taking part in plays, which started when she enrolled as Juliet from Romeo and Juliet to get closer to her boyfriend, Benny. She had her own website, Luan out Louds Comedy Channel. She also had a "business" site called Funny Business Inc., where she was hired out for birthday parties like the one she was going to now.

Luan continued to think about this as she passed the living room, where Lola and Lana were going at it over the TV remote.

"I'm going to the birthday party now!" Luan yelled to Lori. Lori was looking down at her phone, most likely texting Bobby.

"Be back by 4," Lori said in reply.

Luan nodded and grabbed her bag of tricks and unicycle, both which were leaning on the wall next to the door. She went onto the front lawn and went around Vanzilla and turned left.

She passed through the sprawling suburbs, following a map on her phone. To cut time walking, Luan made a shortcut through Ketchum park. As she was walking through this shortcut she saw a trio of figures walking her way.

As they got closer Luan saw that they were from her high school. One was a tall girl called Teri, with long brown hair, with a hair style reminiscent of Leni's. She wore a tan dress covered by a red shirt, with slip on shoes. Next to Teri was an acne faced boy whose color scheme was green beanie, hoodie and blue jeans. This, Luan guessed, was Teri's boyfriend. The third person following behind the other two was another boy in a blue hoodie and khaki pants. The distinguishing feature of this one was that his eyes were covered by a mass of black hair, and he had a noticeable cowlick.
