Chapter 9- The Million Dollar Ghost

Vlad Plasmius was in the Ghost Zone, admiring a skeleton key floating in a glass case.
"Ah, there you are. The legendary Skeleton Key," Vlad Plasmius spoke to himself. Vlad Plasmius crossed his arms as he floated towards the key.
"With it, I can open any door, travel to any realm, free any prisoner," Vlad Plasmius monologued. Before Vlad Plasmius could reach the Skeleton Key, a large ghost appeared in front of him, blocking Vlad Plasmius from getting the key.

The large ghost roared at Vlad Plasmius. Vlad Plasmius remained still, arms still crossed and completely unfazed.
"And if you're the only thing standing between me and that...," Vlad Plasmius trailed off. Vlad Plasmius stared at the large ghost as he was squished when the large ghost made a Vlad Plasmius sandwich, its hands the bread and Vlad Plasmius the contents of the Vlad Plasmius sandwich.

The large, behemoth ghost looked at its hands and smiled triumphantly. The behemoth ghost opened its hands and stared at them dumbfoundedly when it noticed they were empty.

Vlad Plasmius appeared behind the behemoth ghost, arms still crossed and raising his eyebrows, challenging the behemoth ghost. The behemoth ghost scowled angrily at Vlad Plasmius as it leant towards Vlad Plasmius, opening its mouth wide and firing a large purple beam at Vlad Plasmius.

Vlad Plasmius created a shield in front of himself and relaxed with his arms once again crossed as the large purple beam turned into large purple flames and licked Vlad Plasmius' shield. The large purple flames vanished, Vlad Plasmius' shield disappeared right after as his ghost energy died down.

The behemoth ghost reached out and grabbed Vlad Plasmius in its hands. Trapped in the behemoth ghost's hands, Vlad Plasmius started to laugh.
"This is going to be a snap!," Vlad Plasmius spoke as he turned white. Vlad Plasmius turned into a white flame, swirling around in a circle in the behemoth ghost's hands, before vanishing with a pop.

The behemoth ghost looked down at his empty hands confused. Vlad Plasmius appeared in a flash of white light in front of the behemoth ghost's abdomen.

Vlad Plasmius hunched over and charged his left hand up with pink ghost energy, delivering a sharp uppercut to the behemoth ghost. The behemoth ghost roared as it flew away with incredible force.

Vlad Plasmius created three clones. The behemoth ghost slid to a stop and opened its eyes wider.

The behemoth ghost clenched its fist tightly and roared at Vlad Plasmius. The four Vlad Plasmius' sprang into action.

The first Vlad Plasmius swirled an ecto- lasso and threw it at the behemoth ghost. The second Vlad Plasmius shot eye lasers at the behemoth ghost.

The third Vlad Plasmius fired an ecto- blast at the behemoth ghost and the fourth Vlad Plasmius shot eye lasers at the behemoth ghost as well. The behemoth ghost attempted to dodge Vlad Plasmius' attacks.

The behemoth ghost dodged all of Vlad Plasmius' attacks before getting caught in the ecto- lasso. The behemoth ghost tried its best to get out of the ecto- lasso.

The first Vlad Plasmius grinned at the captured behemoth ghost before letting his ghost energy die down, but not completely, letting the clones stay around before turning his attention to the now unprotected Skeleton Key case. The remaining three Vlad Plasmius' grabbed hold of the ecto- lasso and pulled the behemoth ghost closer to them as the original Vlad Plasmius charged towards the Skeleton Key.

The behemoth ghost struggled against the ecto- lasso, pushing its arms outwards, finally managing to break free. The behemoth ghost bent over and flipped its tail towards the original Vlad Plasmius.

The original Vlad Plasmius smiled with evil glee as he flew swiftly downwards, almost within reach of the Skeleton Key. The behemoth ghost's tail landed between Vlad Plasmius and the Skeleton Key.
