AKSHAT'S POV
I don't know if i even want to do this. I don't know if i even want to see her or not.
My family, has suggested, or i may say has decided that i should get married now. So they have found a match for me, a 'perfect' match. They want me to marry her, 70 percent, because of their reputation. I know. There is a part for me but it is smaller than what's practical and good. They don't want me to see if we are compatible, if i like her or am i even ready. The way they described about the girl clearly stated that. They just want to indirectly force me to say yes in face of convincing. Is that what a family is? Why doesn't it feel like home to me, why did it have to be me, and only me? I sighed knowing I don't want another person in my life who is inconsiderate about other's feelings. I have spent all 27 years of my life with people like those and learning that everything has a limit. I couldn't develop a connection with them for it to be blamed for what they did.
They behave just normal, so i do too. But now, i don't think this is how these things work. I should go and at least see her, and i don't think i had an option either, because i can, do reject but can't refuse to meet her.
What will she be like..hmm. I hope nothing problematic. Let's do this.

KASHISH'S POV
"Here, take these plates. Nashta lagao mai aati hun." My mom told me and we all sat to have our breakfast.
"Yo yo sista, what's up" My elder brother, Aditya said while coming a little later.
"What trend is this now, aapke muh se yeh sunke bohot cringe laga." He is more of a protective and nice elder brother but still we can't change the fact how ridiculously random brothers behave. We both snickered it off and started having our meal.
"Hmm.. listen all of you. Ek rishta aaya h Kashish ke liye. Rathore Sahab hain na, unke bete ka."
I stopped working for sec at that. Like i know i just want a partner who'll be patient and understanding, and like to talk it out and.... be my person. And it doesn't need certification of love or arrange marriage. I..I just want a movie like sweet love in life. So i don't think i have any problem if it comes with an arranged marriage. However, let me first see what my parents decide then I will.
"Rathore's.. woh jo hamein Riya ki shaadi mein mile the?? Unke toh 2 bete hain na, kaunse bete ke liye bheja h rishta??" My mother is such a Dora, khair abhi yeh time ni h.
"Yes, wohi. Ajay Rathore's family. Ab yeh toh ni pata mujhe bhai, maine abhi tum logon se baat kiye bina baat aage ni badhaayi, par rishta Akshat ka h. Ab tum dekhlo, yaad Karo bada wala h ya chhota wala." What? My father is like ... well a brown dad i guess, just kidding.
"Mhmm Akshat toh bada wala h. Woh ni aaya tha shyd shaadi mein but Chandra ji ne bataya tha uske baare mein. Khair, tell me what did you tell them??" My mother asked, wait, mera bhai itna shant kaise h?? We'll see to it later.
"Woh toh... woh toh keh rhe the ke kal milna chahte hain aur bacche bhi mil lenge. Isliye maine unhein jawab Dene se pehle poochh liya, ab batao..." My father announced.
Hmmm.... i guess i can atleast meet him, if i don't feel that we can be compatible then I'll refuse but i should meet him, i have no, like preference of love or arrange marriage if i get to know the person.
Yup, i will meet him i guess. I left the breath i didn't know i was holding."Tell me Kashish, kya karna h phir, mujhe lagta h milne mein koi kharaabi ni h..." Papa said and I do agree.
"Hmm, sahi keh rhe ho aap papa, m-milne mein koi dikkat ni h. Aap bata dijiye unhein."
"Thi-"
"Oh my god tune hn kehdi?! I have to do a check on the guy too, meri chhotu si behen ki zindagi ki baat h, maan lo kal hn ho gyi toh?! Mujhe pehle se hi check karna h ruk jao sab!!" My brother finally did something. I snickered. But i do adore him for being a brother every girl wishes to have.
"Hn hn mai baap hun uska, maine kar ke rakha h sab check, mai keh deta hun unse ki hamari haan h aur kal mulaqaat ho skti h." Papa said smacking his hands together. Kitne khush hain. I pouted.
........."Yeh Akshat toh AK ka maalik hai! Iski baat kar rhe hain ham?!" My brother blasted in the silence.
Papa agreed that he was right about the guy they were talking about. Is he like famous?
"Isko toh jaanta hun, business mein toh jaan pehchaan ho hi jaati h. Chalo approve kar deta hun dekh lete hain ise." We all nodded dramatically and papa called them to tell our decision.
So... guess I am going to meet a, supposedly highly eligible man who can be a perfect match for me. Let's see. Bas bhagwaan ji sab thik karna.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::AUTHOR'S POV
"Jao bacchon baat karlo ek baar aapas mein, koi dikkat ni h." Rupali stated seeing the purpose of meeting, the couple being a statue in middle of the family talks.
"Hn hn! Sahi h, Akshat jao!" Chandra said before anything else could happen and the younger ones moved towards the balcony of Kashish's room, which is her happy place, decorated by her own self.
She walked till the, what to say about it, large circular couch, a bed almost? And stood beside it hinting him to take a seat.
He sat down and signalled her to sit as well. She sat at a good 50 cm away from him looking down at her bangles being nervous and shy.
"If you have any problem with all this or if not, what do you expect from me and your in laws, tell me now only, I don't want any mistakes and misunderstandings while taking the decision for marriage." Akshat stated in a straight monotonous voice.
Kashish was a little taken aback by this but she guess she understood where he was coming from.
Hearing nothing against silence Akshat said further, "First of all are you ready for arrange marriage or you have other plans?"
The way he was speaking could seem rude but he wanted to keep everything clear, it was better now than later. He felt a little mean, although he was not shouting or anything sort of that but still it felt a little rude to him to talk like that. But before he could say something the voice of the girl beside him ringed in his ears.
"Ji..ji mujhe arrange marriage se koi problem ni h. Mai bas apne hone Wale partner ko jaan na chahti thi bas aur isse zyada kuch ni. Aur apne in laws se, unse mai expect toh bas yehi karungi ke samay ke saath ham ek parivaar ban jaaye, i- i mean bas equal rahein aur kuch ni, bas koshish karungi sab accha rahe."
"Jahan Tak partner ki baat h, mai chahti hun woh mera person ho. Mai apna best dungi. Aur.. hn mai chahti hun that he is the one who likes to talk everything out, if there are any problems. Pyaar maine hamesha se bohot pyara chaha h!" She giggled saying the last line forgetting who she was sitting with.
Akshat? He was finally looking at her. Noticing the details of her face. He didn't try to do it earlier since he came but now... it felt she isn't so bad. Actually not at all bad. But then he thought, at least till now.
Getting conscious of her surroundings, Kashish looked down getting silent and asked pulling him out of his thoughts.
"A-Aap??""What?" He said a little loudly getting back into the surroundings not knowing what was she asking.
"Ji..ji kuch ni"
