AFTER MORE THAN a few demonstrations on how to break traffic laws, Arya and Sam made it to the underground garage that held up the building Michael was staying in. They both got out and Arya popped the trunk so Sam could gather what he needed while Arya kept watch.

"We're going in, right?" Though it was more of a statement than a question.

Sam cocked his gun and tucked it away, grabbing a machete. "Absolutely."

Her eyes glowed for a moment before dimming, relief made her heart ease just a little.

"Jack's alive and Michael isn't here as far as I'm aware. I'll hide myself from his radar, but I can't hide you so we should hurry."

Something she learned from Apocalypse World was how to hide most of her angel likeness. After many failed attempts, she and Jack learned to hide unless someone was looking for a sign of the grace they possessed. That same shielding though made it a little harder to tell if Jack was hurt, their bond, held together by their grace was barely connected, so all she knew was that he was alive. She clung to the hope that they would find him in one piece.

Sam nodded once and they got in the elevator, Arya instructing him on the level Jack was being kept on.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, a werewolf greeted them, but Sam quickly took care of him. Another came around the corner, about to attack but Arya was quicker and stabbed his heart, seething, a faint ring of silver taking over her hazel irises.

"Didn't want to warn me?"

"Gotta keep you on your toes." Arya shrugged, stepping over the body and Sam rolled his eyes.

Arya led the way, surprised yet thankful when they only ran into two more guards which the pair took out without trouble. Finally, they made it to the room Jack was being held in and Arya rushed forward, falling to her knees in front of him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

"You're okay!" She nearly sobbed into him.

"I'm okay," he assured her, hugging her tightly once Sam cut the ropes on his wrists.

"C'mon you two." Sam ushered them up, the edge in his voice softer. "We better hurry before — "

The sound of footsteps made Arya and Sam grip their weapons tighter and Arya would've killed Garth as soon as he entered if Sam hadn't grabbed her arm, yanking her back.

"Garth!" Sam's shoulders eased more upon seeing his friend.

Arya apologized as they left and Garth waved her off, telling her it was nice to finally meet her in person. She agreed, shaking his hand when he offered it as the four of them rode down in the elevator to wait for Dean and Castiel to arrive.
