Natsu, are you ok?

Chapter 1

Natsu pov

"Finally! A mission where no one destroyed anything!" Lucy said skiping along side Erza
"Don't jinx it yet, there's still the ride home."
The ride home, just thinking about it makes me feel sick.
"I'd rather just walk..."

"You can't be serious flamebrain," the stripper said " it's at least 3 hours on foot, maximum a day."

"Anything beats an hour on that torture device."

"Natsu if you insist" Erza said stepping abord the train. The rest of Team Natau followed. Happy was the last one on, he gave Natsu a high five and waved through the window as it pulled out of the station and started down the track.

Happy pov

Team Natsu sat at their usual spot in the centre of the hall surrounded by their fellow guild mates. Their train had arrived almost 6 hours ago and the sun had already set. "Hello... Happy... EARTH TO Happy"

"Oh uhh, sorry Erza"

Erza stared at me with her glare that could send the most powerful of wizards running. "Whats bothering you Happy?" Erza said with concern but I could tell she knew what the answer was.
"It's just that Natsu should be back by now."

No one answered. Everyone was thinking it, but no one wanted to say anything. "I'm sure he's fine Happy," Lucy said empatheticly "Natsu is one of the strongest wizards we know, if anything he just stoped for a bite to eat."

I smiled at Lucy though I wasn't convinced "ima head home it's getting late."

I flew out of the guild towards my house, to tell the truth I wasn't tired I was just hopeing Natsu would be there when I arrived.

He wasn't.

I curled up on my hammock and tried to sleep, everything is fine. But what if its not?

The clock read 15 past 4 in the morning. I sat up and looked at Natsu's bed, empty. I walked to the kitchen. Food always makes me better, the fish section in the fridge was empty. I have the worst luck.

I lay in my hammock until morning waiting to hear Natsu coming home.

The sun rose, time to head to the guild, when I arrived Macarov and Erza were waiting for me at the bar. "Happy, come here my boy." Macarov signaled for me and I flew over to them

"Did Natsu arrive last night?" Gramps asked. I shook my head solemnly and watched as Erza's expression turned to anger. "Damn that idiot!" She yelled as he struck a table with her fist cracking it in half.

Almost a year had past and still no Natsu. The guild never stopped searching for their salmon haired wizard. Even though no one wanted to admit it evenyone knew the guild wasnt the same, no one fought and cana seemed to drink more than usual even some of the other members joined her from time to time. When they weren't out searching they were taking on jobs to distract themselves from Natsu's disappearance.

Team natsu (minus Natsu) sat around their table in silence. They didn't mind it like that, easier to think even if it ment accepting that things were differnt.

The guild door swung open and everyone stared in disbelief.
