Chapter 8

Natsu pov

"So Mr Suzuki, tell us about the moonlight festival." Erza asked.

She sat still in her seat sipping tea with one pinky up and I could tell she was enjoying herself. And even though she would nod oftern to what he was saying I saw her glance over her shoulder where Happy had gone every few seconds.

I heard footsteps behind the sofa so I turned around to see Happy running over to where we sat. Mr Suzuki gawked at the creature in his living room as Happy whispered something in Erza's ear. She placed her tea back onto the tray and stood up. White light formed around her and she switched into her armor whilst pointing a sword at Mr Suzuki. "Don't move. Lucy and Gray go with Happy and retrieve the jewels. Now Mr Suzuki why is there 10 million stolen jewels in one of your supply closets?"

The floor started to melt beneath our feet and we slowly began to sink. "I guess you weren't here to chat then. Well no matter, you won't live much longer anyway." He said slightly chuckling to himself.

"FIRE DRAGON ROAR."

The blast sent him flying through the back wall and landed with a crash into the furniture. Me and erza continued sinking further into the ground. "Uhhh Erza? How do we get out." My waist was almost fully submerged in the floor and I kept geting deeper and deeper."Natsu hold on to me."

I held onto Erza who summoned a sword with a chain attached and sent it into the ceiling. The chain slowly retracted into the weapon and we lifted out of the floor and jumped onto solid ground.

Walking around the place that had been hit with his spell, me and Erza went towards the man I'd sent soaring through the walls.

"You fairys just can't mind your own business. CARD MAGIC." He shot a handful of cards at us wich we barely dodged in time, like Cana huh?

"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST." I lunged towards him with my fist alight and made impact with his head wich knocked him out cold.

"Good job Natsu. Let's go help Lucy, Happy and Gray transport the money."

It took almost an hour to get all of the money back to the bank. When we finally handed him the full amount of money stolen, he paid us and we left for the train station. I felt nauseous as soon as the torturous machine began to depart from the station.

"Wow Natsu!" Gray said sarcastically "You lasted about 0.3 seconds! That your personal record."

I my head I snaped something witty back, but out loud all I managed was a slight grumble before more puke threatened to come up. I remember Erza getting out of her seat and kneeling down to my level then feeling a sharp pain on my head before I blacked out

Dream

I heard screams from out side and I could smell smoke rolling through the cracks in my window. I just lay in my bed crying hopeing it was all just a nightmare.

"NATSU."

"NASTU WHERE ARE YOU."

I ran out of my bed and into the hallway where fire covered the walls like ivy causing smoke to fill my lungs. "Z- ZEREF." I screamed out to a figure standing on the other side of the flames.

He scooped me up in his arms and carried me on his back. Zeref ran through the fire and towards one of the nearby fields. I saw the village burnt to ashes and the remains of people covering the ground
