Fashion No-no

Note: you're a model and try to get Loki to attend fashion week with you.

As I did my skincare, I heard him walk in.

Loki and I have been having a bit of a disagreement over my trip to Milan for fashion week. Being the ambassador for Dior, I obviously got invited to go. It's just that, well... Loki was being stubborn. He didn't want to go despite how important this was for me. It was my first fashion week since I started my career in modeling. When I approached him with news, all he said was 'I'm not interested in mingling with common mortals in weird attire for a whole week, my dear'.

The last few days I've been trying to change his mind, but it's been useless. So I've been quiet these days and zoning out, so much so that I completely paid no attention to Loki greeting me this morning. That's when he walked in as I sat at my vanity doing my routine. I heard his slow foot steps inch closer to me as I paid no mind to his presence.

"Darling, talk to me."

"..."

"Y/n, love you can't ignore me forev-"

"Oh sod off, will you." I snapped back.

The silence that filled the room afterwards was so loud, it was deafening. I hadn't yet lifted my head to look at him in the mirror, but I didn't have to to know he was very much shocked by my sudden outburst.

"Excuse me?" his tone was low and slightly confused.

Don't poke the bear y/n.

"You heard me Mischief."

"Ok, if you're going to be childish about this whole thing-"

Oh, now he's done it.

I didn't realize how much frustration and anger I had been holding up until this point. I banged my hands onto the table and stood up so fast that the chair fell back. "Childish... CHILDISH!? YOU DON'T FUCKING GET IT DO YOU!? HAVE YOU GOT ANY CLUE HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS FOR ME... NO, YOU DON'T!! THE BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS I PUT IN TO GET TO THIS POINT IN MY CAREER AND NOW HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO FINALLY GO TO MY FIRST FASHION SHOW IS A BIG DEAL...! "

Loki just stood there looking at me with pure shock, and fear. I had never raised my voice before so this was a first for him and even me. As he kept staring with utter disbelief while trying to fathom what's going on, the tears already started to flow as I continued yelling at him.

"... ALL I WANTED WAS FOR THE LOVE OF MY LIFE... *sniff* TO JUST BE THERE WITH ME AND SUPPORT ME A-AND..." I clenched my fists as I began to sob uncontrollably.

Loki made his way to me and pulled me into a tight bear hug. I tried to push him off me out of anger, but soon gave up and just melted in his arms. He held me close to him as my crying slowly stopped and my breathing went back to normal.

We stood like that until he spoke. "I'm so sorry my love. I shouldn't have been so dismissive at first. I've been so reluctant to go that I didn't even realize how much this meant to you."

I sniffed, "I was s-starting to think that y-you didn't care."

He let out a sad sigh. "No my inamorata, I could never. I am indeed very proud of your progress in your career. In fact..."

He pulled out his phone and showed me his lock screen. It was my first cover shoot for Harpers Bizarre. I couldn't believe my eyes. He actually did care. I looked up at him and he smiled down at me.

"It reminds me of what an amazing, extraordinary, radiant, beautiful, exceptional, astounding, mesmerizing women you are and how lucky I am to have you. So I hope you can forgive me for my behavior, darling."

"Oh loki. Just knowing that you actually look at my photoshoots makes me happy. I wish you had told me."

"You know I'm not good at expressing my feelings, but I'll try to from now on."

He kissed me on the forehead and swayed me back and forth. "So, when should I start packing?" he asked.

I looked at him in shock and a smile.

"You really wanna go with me?"

He let out a chuckle. "Yes my love, I'd love to see the tantalizing little outfits you'll be wearing. That and to make sure no one hits on you."

We both laughed and I gave him a loving kiss on the lips.
