The sun had risen on a new day, and with it came a sense of both anticipation and hesitation for Taehyung and Jungkook.
They stood near the stable, dressed in comfortable attire suitable for horseback riding. The memories of their childhood adventures filled the air around them.
Jungkook broke the silence once more, his voice soft yet determined. "Tae...umm how about we.... we ride on the same horse like we used to when we were kids?"
Taehyung's eyes widened at the suggestion. The idea of sharing a horse with Jungkook, their bodies pressed close together, sent tingles of excitement and uncertainty down his spine. He hesitated for a moment, his heart racing, before finally nodding. "Okay, let's do it."
Jungkook led them to a gentle and calm horse. He helped Taehyung mount the horse first before gracefully climbing up behind him. As they settled onto the horse together, their bodies touched, and the sensation sent shivers through Taehyung.
Jungkook's arms wrapped securely around Taehyung's waist, holding him close. The horse began to move, and they rode together, just like they had when they were children.
The wind ruffled their hair, and the world around them blurred as they focused on the rhythm of the horse's movements.
Taehyung couldn't help but steal a glance at Jungkook. "It feels just like old times, doesn't it?"
Jungkook smiled, his chin resting lightly on Taehyung's shoulder. "Yeah, it does."
As they rode side by side, they shared warmth of their bodies and the familiar connection they had once known brought a sense of comfort and nostalgia. In that moment, they were reminded of the bond they had shared and the adventures they had embarked on together.
Though they had a long journey ahead of them to rebuild what had been lost, for now, as they rode together on the same horse, they allowed themselves to relive a small piece of their shared past and to embrace the hope of a future that was still uncertain but filled with possibilities.
