A week had passed since Yoongi's visit,at the Jeon household, Jungkook couldn't shake the regret he felt over his last conversation with Taehyung.
He missed the pretty omega more than he had anticipated, and the jealousy he had felt towards Yoongi only intensified his longing.
It had been a year since the Jeons purchased land near Daegu to build an amusement park, and the construction was nearing completion. Jungkook had to make a trip to Daegu for business related to the park.
As he sat with his father in their living room, his father informs him about Taehyung's upcoming art exhibition in Daegu. "Tae's exhibition is a significant event, son. You should go and support him. He's a talented artist."
Jungkook's father had always loved, but he regretted not putting in more effort to rebuild their bond after Jungkook's mother's death.
Jungkook hesitated for a moment before making a decision. He offered, "appa, you know I have to leave for Daegu as well. I.... I could accompany Tae there?"
His father's eyes softened with approval, and he patted Jungkook's shoulder. "That's a good idea, son . It's time you rekindled your bond with
tae."

The next day, Jungkook makes a phone call to Taehyung. After a few rings he finally hears the omega after days as his heart thumps loudly.
Jungkook: Hey, tae, it's been a while.
Taehyung: Yeah, it has..... How have you been?
Jungkook: I've been alright....umm Listen, I heard about your art exhibition in Daegu...Congratulations on that.
Taehyung: Oh, thanks, kookie. It means a lot.
Jungkook: Yeah, well, I'll be in Daegu for some work related to the amusement park construction. I was thinking, maybe we could go together?
Taehyung: ....Um, really? You want us to go together?
Jungkook: Yeah, ... it could be nice, you know. Catch up and all.
Taehyung: (Softly) I'd like that, Jungkook. It's been a while since we hung out.
Jungkook: (Smiles) Great. So, when's the exhibition?
Taehyung: It's in two days, and it'll run for two days. I can send you the details.
Jungkook: Sounds good. Let's do that then.
Their conversation held a promise of reconnecting, and as they exchanged details about the trip, both Taehyung and Jungkook felt a mixture of excitement and trepidation, unsure of what the future held for them.
