The story begins as it shows a man in a badass suit walking away from the edge of a destroyed building.
ARC Broadcaster: "This is the ARC resistance network, In what will be hopefully our final broadcast"
"To the people of Earth, To anyone listening, The demonic horde has been defeated."
"The beast, Identified by UAC scientists as the Icon of sin, Has been destroyed by The Doom Slayer...."

The Doom Slayer is a being that has unstoppable rage for demons, He was once a human. But ever sense he was trapped in hell and found by the people of Argent D'Nur. He became an unchained predator, Defeating many of hells forces.
Even after killing the icon of sin, who was a giant Titan with immense strength, the Slayer still searches for hordes of demons and corrupted sections of the Universe.
VEGA (his AI assistant) notifies him that a small horde of demons have taken over a plasma power plant and it's starting to go unstable and could explode within the next hour.
This explosion can destroy the entire city, Killing the survivors who inhabited it.
When the Slayer hears this information he instructs VAGA to give him the coordinates to the location.
He then goes towards a large button in his fortress, Pressing it, Causing a portal to activate infront of him
He grabs his shotgun and jumps through the Portal, Sending him near the power plant.
When he reaches the power plant he finds some UAC marines battling the demons in-front of the entrance, He starts walking toward the demons. Killing them.
The Marines are obviously scared due to The Slayers presence, But knowing that the Slayer can easily take on an army of demons. They simply fall back and let the Slayer do what he does, Rip and Tear them apart.
he finds out he can't enter through the main entrance due to a giant amount of rubble covering it.
VEGA scans the vicinity and finds another entrance where the Doom Slayer can enter. It leads to the basement where he can find an elevator to get him to the core.
When he walks past the entrance and goes down the stairway he immediately notices the toxic waste and hot plasma that are spilled across the metal floor.
This doesn't stop The Slayer though, He continues to traverse the hallways, avoiding the waste and plasma, killing the demons one by one.
