Obviously very confused about this, The Slayer instructs VEGA to fact-check it; VEGA does and confirms that he is in the year 2024.
The reason he fell out of such a high place is because the power plant didn't exist yet, so he was basically in the sky when he traveled back to this year.
Hearing this, the Doom Slayers facial expression changed.
For once, he didn't have to tear Imps, Pinkies, and giant Titans apart. But at the same time, he still wanted to get revenge for Daisy and his family.
How was he going to adapt to this new life? Does he try to find a way back to his future, or does he settle down here and live in the past? As his mind is very conflicted, He notices a couple of small military vans pulling up near the construction site where he was teleported to.
He sees a couple of armed humans with primitive military suits and guns hopping out of it.
The group enters the construction site very quickly, telling everyone there to get out and stating that this is "government business" and top secret. As the Doom Slayer is looking around, he notices that one of the military vehicles has a UAC logo on it.

At this time the UAC seems like a government research facility and not a mega corporation like he always saw.
The Slayer then walks toward the construction site and hides behind a box, eavesdropping on the men's conversation.
Man 1: "Yeah, the readings show that a rift happened here."
Man 2: "What could've even caused the rift? Some foreign countries experimenting with things?"
Man 1: "That's why we are here John. Hey Colt, what are the readings showing you?"
Man 3: "Nothing, Just normal readings."
One of the men notices The Slayer behind a box and yells, "Hey! You're not supposed to be here; put your goddamn hands up!" All the Slayer does is stand up.
"I will fuckin shoot you! Put your hands up and state your business! This is top secrecy." Right before he can finish his sentence. The other man's radar is going off. "Hey Colt, our radar is going off!"
Just before they can even find out what's happening, a pinky seam appears out of nowhere. "Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!" The men fire at it but are unsuccessful at killing it.
The Pinky runs toward one of the men. The man starts to scream;"FUUCCK!" But right before Pinky reaches the man, the Doom Slayer grabs one of its horns and rips it off, stabbing it in the eye and killing it.
"What the hell was that?" one of the men said. "Who the hell are you, and how did you even kill it that easily?" Before anything else could be said, another handful of demons appeared out of nowhere.
One of the men uses his Radio in panic; "This is Team 12-b; we need immediate reinforcements and armed support. Get the best weapons we have!" All the slayer does is look at the demons as he grabs his shotgun and reloads it.
"There is no way you can defeat those things! You need to get the hell out of here!" The Doom Slayer runs towards the demons, grabbing one of them and using it as a meat shield, then killing them all with either one of his guns or a fist straight to the head.
"My god..." one of the men says.
The reinforcements arrive, and they too watch as The Slayer leaves a graveyard of demons.
Hesitantly, all the men point their guns at the slayer.
"Put... Put your hands up and surrender...Please?" One of the men asks. Surprisingly, the Doom Slayer lets the UAC personnel take him away in handcuffs with lots of security.
The Doom Slayer doesn't want to kill humans, especially if they are just doing their job and what they are told to do. Besides, it's not like he's in danger. He is left alone in a room with a chair and table until someone on the microphone says, "What's your name? Who do you work for?
