One of the soldiers ask a question in a confused voice; "Uhh, How the-"
Before he can finish his sentence, Another horde of demons start to attack the group.
The Doom Slayer pulls out his shotgun and runs towards the demons, once again turning the battleground into a bloody graveyard.
"I don't think we need to learn how, I think we need to see if he's on our side" A sergeant says.
The Doom Slayer looks at him and nods his head.
"I assume that's a yes."
One of the soldiers come up to him; "Umm, I'm Sargent Davis, Who are you?"
The Doom Slayer doesn't respond. Instead he continues walking as the other men do too.
"I see you don't talk too much." Davis says.
The team continues walking, Still confused at who The Slayer is and where he came from.
They see some military jets in the distance, Firing at the ground.
"It all happened so quickly, I was at the base just exercising until the General came up to us and told us that there is some sort of alien invasion in the city, I didn't believe what he said until we arrived here. Those things were everywhere, There was helicopters and jets all around the place trying to kill those flying...Meatball things" Davis spoke.
"I'm still wondering who the hell are you, It seems like you know a lot about them." Davis spoke again.
VEGA: "There is a gore nest up ahead, Destroy it to prevent any more demons from appearing."
The Doom Slayer runs towards it.
"Where the hell is he going now?" Davis says in a confusing manner.
The Slayer finds the gore nest along with the demons doing ceremonies around it. He launches a grenade, Killing some of them.

The team he was with finally catches up to him and starts firing at the demons.
"I'm counting 9 hostiles!"
"To your right!"
The Doom Slayer finishes the demons off.
As the dust settles, All there is left is the bodies of the demons, And what used to be the gore nest.
"What even was that glowing ball thing?" A soldier says.
"Portal" The Slayer responds with.
"Well it's about time you spoke!" The soldier says.
"Portal....Interesting, That's probably how those things got here." Davis spoke.
Davis speaks again "Alright team! The General says we have to head back to base to regroup."
The team does as told, However The Doom Slayer is hesitant.
"Hey man you coming?" One soldier says.
"The way how you killed those aliens, Your basically our last resort, Our hope." He says.
The Doom Slayer is still hesitant but decides to go along with them.

They walk towards an underground subway station and enter it. The Doom Slayer looks around as he sees injured soldiers on the floor, Along with many weapons and other soldiers preparing for the Generals orders.
The General walks up to the team who just entered.
"Woah Woah Woah who the hell is this idiot in the costume?" The general says.
"We don't know, All we know is that he killed many of those aliens with ease, An entire group of them gone just because of him." Davis says.
The General looks at him with a surprised face.
"This guy?" He says.
"Yes sir" Davis says.
"With what weapon?" The General says again.
"He uses a multitude of them, But most of the time he...Tears them apart with his bare hands."
"What's your name?" The General spoke to The Doom Slayer. Very impressed at him.
"Umm...He doesn't really talk too much" Davis says before being cut by The Doom Slayer.
"Slayer...Doom Slayer" The Slayer spoke.
The group of soldiers has a wide eyed expression.
"Well, Doom Slayer, We have a mission to do, As you can see on this map it seems like most of the aliens are coming from this temple or building that's in this construction site. I'm assuming you are familiar with it in some way since you seem familiar with the aliens." The General explains.
"Your mission is to go here from either an Airplane or a chopper and jump off with a parachute. Once you've entered and cleared the outside area, The ground team will head in and we will go into the building and see what the hell is happening in there, Along with stopping it." The General explains further.
"A few of us may die...But only know that it is for the great or good" General says again.
"Everything clear?" The General says.
"Clear!" All the soldiers in the base spoke.
The Slayer and Sargent Davis's team enter a Chinook helicopter.
"Alright team! Those things have put us through hell, It's about time we return the favor!"
"HOOAH!" The entire team yells.
The helicopters rear door opens as the soldiers jump out of it.
The words "Rip and Tear" were still echoing inside The Doom Slayers mind, He will give these demons hell....
Grabbing his Double-Barreled shotgun, He runs and jumps out of the helicopter with the rest of the men.
