Later when we're all supposed to be studying, we're making plans to bring back the dead poets society.
We got a map and everything.
Then I see Todd sitting alone. So I sit next to him.
"Todd, are you coming tonight?"
"No"
"Why not? You were there. You heard Keating."
For some reason, I really want him to come to the meeting.
"But- I uh"
"But what, Todd?"
"Keating said everyone took turns reading. And I don't want to do that"
Todd sounds embarrassed to admit it"You really have a problem with that, don't you?"
"N-no I don't have a problem. Neil, I just don't want to do it, okay?"
"What if you didn't have to read? What if you just came and listened?"
"Neil, that's not how it works."
" forget how it works!! What if everyone said it was ok?"
" are you just going to go up and ask them?"
Todd looks like he's trying to find a way out of this"I'll be right back!"
I smile as I go talk to the guys"Neil!"
He gives up on trying to convince me
Later (Todd)
While I'm washing my face in the sink, Neil comes up to me
"You're in"
He says and walks awayHi sry I changed to Todd in the end , I messed up on the pov but I'm too lazy to change it lol , thanks for reading and have a good existence
