(( Phew! This one took forever! But I guess it's worth it because you all seem to like it! :3 This is a lemon, and a pretty long one! I felt really uncomfortable writing this, so be grateful XD Enjoy~~))

Tired, half-lidded eyes revealed shining red orbs focused on the small sheet of paper that had been left on the pillow where Roderich usually slept. The writing was obviously his, beautifully shapen and delicate calligraphy.
Gilbert,

I had a few errands to run this morning, breakfast is on the table. I decided to leave early, for I know how you are. You never seem to stop. Anyway, good morning, I will return soon.

8:30 a.m.

Happy Anniversary darling,
Roderich

Gilbert rubbed the sleep from his eyes and looked at the clock. It was 11:48 now; Roderich should be home soon. He stood and trudged into the kitchen and heated up the breakfast his husband made for him, and poured himself a glass of orange juice. Gilbert carried the glass into the living room and flopped down onto the expensive love seat. It was something his stick-in-the-mud partner would never let him do if he were here. Especially naked. As if out of spite, the albino rubbed his naked butt on the cushions, smirking and letting out an 'ahh' of satisfaction.

Gilbert looked around for the remote, upon seeing it he could tell it was conveniently placed where he could reach it without being disturbed of his comfortable position. He grabbed it and switched on the television. And, of course, nothing was on tv, so he settled with a documentary on he life of a chicken. The albino let out a loud groan as the program began.

Two hours had passed and Roderich still hadn't been home. Gilbert pulled out his phone and looked at his notifications. Not even a call or text from him, which was surprising considering he usually calls at least once if he's gone so long. As if the universe read his mind, the door handle twisted and Roderich came in carrying two plastic bags with the usual smiley face and read, "Have a Good Day!". But the aristocrat's face turned the opposite when he saw his husband in his birthday suit on his loveseat imported right from Sweden.

The Prussian could sense Roderich's displeasure and slowly slid off the loveseat onto the floor. "Welcome home, Roddy?" He pulled a silly grin, preparing for the lecture that would follow. To his surprise, Roderich just let out a sigh and mumbled a dull "Ja." And walked into the kitchen, his pristine brown boots softly clicking on the tile floor as he reached the kitchen.

After Gilbert had went into their bedroom and put on a pair of Prussian flag boxers, he joined his husband in the kitchen. He creeped behind him and wrapped his arms around Roderich's waist and placed a kiss on his pale neck. "Happy Anniversary, Mrs. Beilschmidt." The silverette mumbled jokingly to his partner. Roderich simply rolled his eyes and placed the freshly bought wine on the table.

After awhile of unpacking other items that would, more than likely, go towards creating dinner for tonight, the Austrian grabbed an unmarked bag and took it into the bedroom. A few minutes later, he walked back out.

"Hey, Specs, we're outta gummy worms again. Go and get some, yeah?" Gilbert asked as Roderich walked back into the room and grabbed the keys, seemingly about to head back out.

"I don't have any more coupons do your silly gummy worms, Gil." He responded.

Gilbert blankly stared at his partner. "......you've gotta be kidding me," He mumbled as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a ten dollar bill. "this should be more than enough." Roderich took the money and walked out the door.

As soon as he left, the albino male ran into the bedroom and immediately began to look for that bag. I wonder what's in it! He wondered, tearing through dressers and ripping up sheets. "Verdammt! Where could it be?!" Gilbert growled. More time had passed than he thought, because he heard the doorknob turn and open, Roderich began babbling as soon as the door closed. "Gilbert! They didn't have gummy worms, only bears, so I got those instead!"
