Love; an intesnse feeling of deep affection. This, on the most romantic of days, if exactly how Roderich felt. Sure, he doesn't show it as often as he should, but Gilbert knows he loves him and vice versa.
Right?
Roderich hoped so; he really did love him. He knew Valentine's Day wouldn't be the same as other's, and he was exactly right.
Traditionally, this day is full of paper hearts, chocolate, and kisses. This day in the Edelstein household, however, had none of that. Well, except the kisses, where in that area, there were plenty.
The Austrian had never slept with a man; Vash had made sure Roderich knew he didn't want anything sexual between them. With time, the brunette thought, he would warm up to him. But that's not how it played out at all. The breakup ended sourly, and Vash had truely not found another person. Did he simply tire of Roderich being around? Being his?
Gilbert was much more gentle Roderich's first time--to his surprise. It was completely OOC for him to do such, especially for the dainty pianist. Dainty. What a gentle word.
The night wasn't filled with moans of pleasure and screams of pure ecstasy, but soft moans and semi-awkward grunts. Austria was in heaven, though he was stunned at first that Gilbert had done such a, dare he say, romantic thing for this, the day dedicated to love.
Roderich leaned into Gilbert's pale neck and left soft kisses and bites, trailing his talented hands across his scarred body, delicate fingers following the trails the scars had left. It made his heart ache, knowing that HE had left his own mark on the albino's skin.
His heart sped faster, meeting the thrusts of Gilbert's hips.
They met their release, Gilbert making sure he left enough marks on the Austrian to be visible the next morning, in his mind as well as his body. Roderich let out a soft wimper of disappointment as Gilbert left him with an empty feeling inside of him, but made up for it by laying the brunette on his chest.
Roderich paniked inside and nearly had a heart attack when he felt Gilbert's heart not beating, but then he remembered. Berlin, the fall of the Prussian empire.
Gilbert was no longer a nation.
Tears threatened to come, but they never did. He felt remorse for the man. He'd gone through so much, and ended up loosing his country in cold blood.
But he was here now, and Gilbert was his. His. And Roderich didn't plan on letting him go anytime soon.
