Ai's pov

Today is another peaceful day. I am walking to school with Kudo-kun and the kids. If anyone sees us they will surely not expect us to be 2 adults who have shrunk due to a poison.
Tsuburaya-kun seems to be talking about his sister's piano contest or so. Talking about sisters I just remembered I haven't told Kudou-kun about Mio. She was saying something about coming to see me with an identity that would surprise everyone. I wonder what identity she created this time.

"Huh," I said snapping out of my trance. It seems that Yoshida-san has been calling me for some time.

"We've reached the school."

"Ara is that so I didn't notice," I replied.

"You seem to be in deep thought. Did something happen?" She asks slightly worried.
I was going to tell them about Mio only to be interrupted by Kudo-kun's mumbling."Leave The evil-eyed yawny girl alone. I'm sure she's upset over something that's not worth worrying over again."
He ticks me off. I was gonna tell him about Mio so that he wouldn't be that shocked but let him also be surprised as he will be the one who will be the most shocked if Mio is thinking to use the same identity I am thinking.

"After school, I have a surprise for you." I tell them in a somewhat secretive way.

"Surprise?" they all say a bit taken aback.

"Is it eel rice?"Kojima-kun asks. As expected food is the only thing he can think of.

"No. It is not food. And it is a secret I won't tell until the end of school." I say. It is fun to act like a child.

Kudo-kun approaches me."Oi, what secret are you talking about? You didn't tell, me anything ." he asks.

"That's right. It's a surprise even for you."I say with a smile that will surely creep him out.

Third person pov

The bell rings indicating the end of the school day. The detective boys were looking forward to Ai's gift. It was really rare that she was in a really happy mood and acting like an elementary school girl. Conan was the most fazed by her behavior. As the Detective boys exited the school building, Ai noticed the figure of a girl who looked like she was in her late teens leaning against a tree and waiting for them to come close. Conan noticed Ai staring and her and observed this person. He was able to say that the girl was around his original age. She was wearing a cap to cover most of her face. Her hair was braided and was below her waist level. It seemed that she was waiting for someone. Conan wondered if Ai knew her as she had a small grin-like smile on her face ever since she saw that person.

As soon as the detective boys exited the school gates, Ai was being hugged to death by this person. Since no one except Ai was expecting this, they were in a frozen shock state. The only thing that was in their mind was 'Haibara.......being hugged.......and hugging back........WAIT WHAT?????'

"I've missed you soooooo much Ai" the person said finally letting go of Ai.

"Me too," replied Ai. This shocked the kids more than they already were.'Haibara..........being affectionate??????'

The mysterious finally removed the cap to reveal her face. The kids were shocked more than ever to see an adult Haibara Ai with long hair standing in front of them.

"I am Mio, Ai's sister. Pleased to meet you." Mio introduced herself.
