Chapter 4

Emperor Taehyung, accompanied by his advisor, chief-in-command, and brother, gathered in the study to discuss and plan the project, "The Collective Journey."

They had been inside the study since morning, and now, as evening approached, they emerged from their discussions and made their way to the dining room for a meal. Taehyung had also invited Seokjin and Hoseok, who joined them for dinner.

Casual conversations flowed among them, with Jimin intentionally engaging Taehyung in every topic by seeking his opinion, as Taehyung had been quietly eating without much input.

Once they finished their meal, a worker approached and respectfully addressed Taehyung, saying, "Your Majesty, your horse is prepared for your weekly stroll to the town. Some guards are also waiting near the castle door."

Jimin expressed his desire to accompany Taehyung, to which Taehyung responded, "Prepare a horse for Prince Jimin as well and have another one ready for me. I'd rather not take Blaze with me today; he might embarrass me by tripping me in front of everyone, especially since I skipped his bath today," Taehyung uttered as he left the dining room.

As Taehyung exited, laughter filled the room. Jimin chimed in, "That horse has a love-hate relationship with Taehyung. He'd go to great lengths for him, but he's also quite fond of his own looks – especially when it comes to catching the eye of the female horses." Jimin chuckled along with the others.

Afterward, everyone returned to their respective tasks, with Jimin exchanging a glance with Hoseok before making his way towards the castle's entrance, where his brother was likely waiting for him.

Upon reaching the castle door, Jimin spotted Taehyung seated on a horse, tenderly stroking it, all the while pointedly averting his gaze from a specific direction. When Jimin turned his head, he observed Blaze, who was unmistakably shooting glares in Taehyung's direction, or perhaps at the horse that Taehyung was petting. 

Jimin couldn't help but chuckle as he mounted his own horse. "Goodness, your horse is either plotting your murder or suffering from extreme jealousy over you showing affection to another horse," Jimin remarked to Taehyung.

Taehyung paused in his petting and glanced towards Blaze, who continued to glare, albeit with somewhat less intenisty. "I'm fairly certain it's both." Taehyung mused, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I wouldn't be shocked if he decides to give me a solid kick the next time I approach him." he added, shaking his head with a wry smile.

And just like that, they ventured outside the castle for their weekly stroll around the town. Taehyung maintained a serious demeanor, carefully noting everything he believed needed improvement, while Jimin, on the other hand, couldn't resist the temptation to stop at every other shop to make purchases or sample various snacks.

After some time, Taehyung went to inspect the land where a shelter was to be constructed for those in need. "I want this land prepared by the end of tomorrow so that we can begin the basic foundation work as soon as possible," he instructed the warrior who diligently recorded his every word.

"Yes, Your Majesty. The materials are expected to arrive the day after tomorrow, so construction can possibly commence on the same day," the warrior responded.

Taehyung nodded, and after assessing the area, he returned to his brother, Jimin, who was likely enjoying a meal at a local shop. When Taehyung arrived, he saw Jimin engaged in a hand game with some children while sitting on the ground. He watched their joyful expressions from a distance and then went to purchase snacks for the children.
